The French fans want to see French riders
This is the most important thing to remember. It may be the biggest race, but it's French. The sponsors are mostly French, the fans by the side of the road are mostly French. The villages paying lots of money for the race to pass through are French.
ASO's main priority really is to please the French.

GreenEDGE Cycling has now officially been confirmed / launched.
Shayne Bannan is the team manager, and he has secured a backing of 10-16 million euro, mainly from Jayco's owner, Gerry Ryan.
The team will launch in 2012 and wants to become a ProTeam right away. |

More likely than Pegasus. Jayco has a history of cycling sponsorship too,

What's about the TdF? Then Vino will be the captain in France... |

He wants to achieve a good overall result in Giro so he will not probably be fresh in the July. Combination of Giro-Tour is too hard, the combination of Giro-Vuelta seems much better.
Vino said he wants to get the podium in the Tour in his (probably) last season (which I don't believe he can achieve) so he doesn't need Kreuziger in France.

Probably he is more afraid of Kreuziger being better in the mountains than him |

I might pick it up this afternoon. Anyway, I've taken a new direction in arguing about Lance,
This is my tactic.
1) There are somewhere between 100-200 different pieces of evidence and former friends, teammates, and confidants of Lance who have come out and said he doped.
2) The fact that he was never suspended comes down to the UCI's unwillingness too. And even with that he had to bribe them to make sure they didn't.
3) The only evidence supporting Lance not doping is his word.
Therefore, Lance doped. Q.E.D.

Thanks for that
For those who know all the evidence presented in the past, here's what's new:
- Armstrong had contact with Dr. Ferrari as recently as 2009;
- Doping products were found during the raid on Popovych's house a few months ago;
