Didn`t understand you 100%.
But if you want to play online in GC you need 1.0.4.2. So sprints in GC will be buggy.
Singleplayer is better to play with 1.0.4.1.
So install 2 versions like CrueTrue wrote.
One with 1.0.4.1 for single player and one with 1.0.4.2 for buggy GC.
GC without this bug is not possible so all flat stages suck there.

I've been playing a little with the PCM.daily DB on extreme the last few days and using the latest patch.
Really can't believe Cya are going to leave it like this. Can't believe people are going to work on 2011 DB's either with the game in the state. |

It seems as if Cya doesn't give a s... about PCM 2010 anymore. They don't respons to any requests about a new patch fixing the current bugs. At least I couldn't find any responses nor any official statement that acknowledge that there even is a problem with the game.
It's hard to believe that a company can care so little about their own customers. A total shame.
Sorry 'bout the rant it just pisses me off!
Well.... I guess it's back to PCMDaily 2009. |

You can be 100 % sure that Cyanide is no longer working on PCM10, and that no patches will be released.
PCM10 with patch 1.0.4.1 is quite playable, though. |

Is it possible to wind-back from 1.0.4.2 to 1.0.4.1 or do I have to re-install the entire thing? |

You should not forget that you should install a DB like that:
- game
- patch
- DB
So you could get problems if you installed a DB after the patch. To be sure just install the DB after installing the patch. |

Slightly off topic but... I havent played PCM for couple of years and now I wan't to start again. But, the question is - What version to play. I'm reading this topic and I can't believe how some things got WORSE since PCM06 (last i played). 
Now... What do you recommend: PCM09 or PCM10. And what patch? Tnks  |

Don`t use the auto update for 1.0.4.2 if the autorun is still asking.
Otherwise always open the PCM.exe in the game folder to avoid the autorun.
Then the game is very playable in my opinion. |

PCM2010 looks best by a mile. And if you care about the latest teams and races you need to play PCM2010.
If you find a cheap copy of PCM2009 and do not care about the looks, then go it. You might even find a good DB for 2010 if you look around.
You should always install the latest patch. But if you only play single player games you might go for the second latest patch when playing PCM2010 (1.0.4.1)
BTW: I do not think that important aspects of the game got worse. And when using my season planner (usable for PCM09 and PCM2010) the game is really playable now, even if you only simulate. |

And you should install patch 1.0.4.1 instead of 1.0.4.2 if you just play SP.
The newer patch ruins the sprints. |

I have bought, PCM10 yesterday! When i first run the game, I've agreed to the installation of the patch 1.0.4.2. I've noticed the problems during the masssprint and after reading some threads, I want to install the patch 1.0.4.1 because I only do SP.
What should I do to remove the 1.0.4.2 and get the 1.0.4.1?
