But you'd have to figure in that if chaingate didn't happen, Contador would have probably attacked on the Tourmalet. It's impossible to blame a GT on one incident like that, changed the race.

If Schleck keeps the pace, he'll hold onto second. If he continues to slow down with the negative progression he's shown so far, he'll lose 2nd to Menchov

That would mean, since Schleck and Contador both had stages where they put 10 seconds on the other, the only stages that mattered this year for yellow were cobbles and the chain problem. |
