2. Contador attacking was a dick move. You don't attack there. You just don't. But the entire forum here was on his back. I wonder why you're all on his back but you all defended Boonen when he did the same. That's a rhetorical question, obviously.
Do you mean Paris Roubaix 2009? A pretty different situation, I think. Race conventions are somehow different in cobblestones (Paris Roubaix would be boring as hell if people waited for fallen riders all the time, I guess). And Boonen was fairly the best that particular day; it would have been unfair if he hadn't won.

Nice.

I don't know, having not seen it (I was at school) was Contador attacking anyway?
If so, he can't really be blamed for carrying on his momentum.

You edited it out, but that was the 2nd time you said "Danish Saxo mechanics". What's your point? Are Danes somewhat worse at mechanics than Americans?
Besides, there's only 1 Danish mechanic on Team Saxo Bank. |

No, Andy had a gap, then chain goes bang, Contador attacked.

My terrible sense of humor strikes again. No, they are no worse, I just like pushing the buttons of the Danish members of the forum. |

Considering I don't like either of them, I don't really care who wins, but that was a bit unsportsmanlike then. |

Time to play Devil's advocate
Contador's lawyer:
"When Contador won the Tour in 2007, he punctured on a mountain finish right after he attacked. Saxo Bank responded by going to the front and lifting the pace.
Also, Contador and everyone else already waited for Schleck on stage 2 when he was many minutes behind. How many times should they wait?"
Schleck's lawyer:
"You don't attack the yellow jersey when he punctures. No matter what."
There. Is everyone happy now?

Menchov could pull back 2 min on Schleck in the final TT, so Schleck needs to pick up time in the next two days to secure second. |

You wouldn't say "le" there, even though you English speakers tend to use "le" or "la" wherever it doesn't belong when trying to speak French.
On the French eurosport ticker, they say Schleck rolled on a stone when he attacked, which caused the chain jump. |

To be fair though, racing involves punctures and cycling is basically a game of chance. |

I was learning french from a french guy, he always says my biggest mistake (and i'll admit it), is that I often use le when i should use la. And La when i should use le.
Not always, but it's my most frequent mistake in French.
