The only top GC guys I see that have an advantage on the cobbles is Evans and Armstrong, the others are just bad and will probably finish in the pack falls and punctures not included. Actually I expect to end like last time there was cobbles in the tour, no top favourites lose any time.
I point you to Wiggins. 25th in Paris-Roubaix last year.
But in terms of today, Wiggins was pathetic. He could and should have gone faster, despite the weather, and it will cost him dearly.
But on a far far brighter note, Millar and Thomas

Arashiro has always been one of my favourites.
As for the sprinter of Footon its looking like it will have to be Feline, with Cardoso's crash.

I have a couple of questions after today's stage.
How is the order for time trials chosen? Also, how are team numbers chosen (all I know is 1-9 go to the defending GC winner's team)?

The defending team is last of each "group". And the team can choose the order of their riders themself. But the former champ has to be last. I think?
