Kirsipuu comes 3min later and was 3rd..heh.
Cannot imagine Taaramae in standard red Cofidis jersey. Hope we`ll see him back in Estonian colours next year again |

Just finished watching my 3 hour recording of the British Champs, having been out all day ..
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. Geraint Thomas
A brilliant way to take a 1st professional road victory, and the jersey is finally returning to the Tour!!
Its hard on Peter Kennaugh. 2nd again after 2nd in 08, 3rd in 09, but his time will surely come and Im ecstatic that G got the win.

Did David Millar wear it in 2007? |

Millar was champion in 2008, in that year where they did the road nationals in august for some reason
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

Yeh, the roads were the championship was due to be held were flooded in July, so they moved it to August. So Milar was national champ from August to June - missing out one of the most important months.

i'm glad a professional has won the british champs. it's rubbish when a domestic rider wins as you never see the jersey. though it looks like Sky are gonna dominate the British champs for the forseeable future so we should hopefully see the jersey at the tour for the next few years. |

Well you do. You have to watch the British races, which are usually good for the 30 minute highlights they show

it's not the same though is it. you want to see the jersey in the alps and on the champs-elysees. it's not the same at the east midlands cycle classic! |

Agree about the british jersey. Lot better seeing it in the tour than english races. Nice result by Simon Richardson thought and andrew fenn |

The TT race in belgium is ridden in august. |

I'm starting to think there's nothing Vanessa Fernandes can't do.
A bit tired of dominating triathlons, she decided to enter the cycling Women's TT Nationals "For the hell of it".
The result was predictable.
And today she decided to dominate the road race... although with a little bit more competion, since last year's national champion was now in the race. Which didn't happen in the TT.
Quite impressive
And I also wonder the same with Martina Sablikova,2 olympic gold medals from speed skating and now she is Czech cycling tt champion, destroyed the opposition by a minute. She said she is interested to start in London in cycling
Go Roman!

Women Belgian championship?
Nah, he seems to have a good season. He's also the first rider to achieve the 'dpuble' in Belgium.

46-year old Raul Alcala wins the Mexican TT championships. Will he be the male Jeannie Longo. |
