Roturn`s Stages
matein
Hi roturn!!!!
First of all thanks for all your great stages that makes this funny game so so real and the hard job you´re doing...
Appreciated so much.
And second, i´m new around here and i´ve downloaded some of your stages. I have the two stage files each one of them, and where do i put them now to make it works??? in which carpet???
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for this comment.

You have to copy the stages into the mainfolder /CM_stages.

If the race already exists then rename them like the old file and overwrite.
You must edit the DB a bit afterwards. Lachi`s editor or the Full Editor_V4 are recommended.

If the race is totally new, then you have to edit STA_Race and STA_stage with the full editor.

Same tables with old races.

I still have two weeks of practical work. So I won`t do new stages in this time. Afterwards I wanted to renew the big classics, especially the Ardennes.

Great to hear, good luck with your practical work.

Although I didn`t planned to make more stages in the next weeks I created the 2011 Amstel Gold Race. It`s totally the same than my 2010 version but one little change, so I didn`t had to build roads, cities, forests etc.

The only change is that the Geulhemmerberg will be ridden twice instead of just one time. In 2010 the climbed it after ~180km, now the additionally have to climb it with already ~75km the first time. Won`t change a lot for the riders as the only changing is in the first third.

DL Link as always in the first post.

All of you, who already downloaded the new stage have to load it again.
Unfortunately the finish line was on a wrong place. Fixed now.

Update

This might be interesting for Man Game managers.
I added the PT classic Classique du Grand-Duché and the CT Race Deutschland Tour on the bottom of the first post.

roturn, your stages are in the pcmdayli pack 2011 ? for example, amstel gold race 2011.?

roturn
It depends. I think the PCM Daily 2011 DB release was before I build the new route.
Murcia, Haut Var 2011 are more possible I think.
But for AGR, you can download it, rename it like the PCMDaily Stage and overwrite it in CM_Stages,

Ok thanks.

Other question: have strade bianche, in pack pcmdaily, ground section ? or is all pavement sections ?

Did you made a version of strade bianche? ty

I haven`t done other stages than the listed ones. Someone else did the Strade Bianchi 2011 stage. It`s with the white road texture. But the cobble stat has no influence on it as the gameplay is not different than normal roads.

Ere ya go. Thx.

Just came back from university and have to do some home work now. Then I will have a look on it.

Actually I wanted to do a new MSR version but today I was in Paris Roubaix fever. So next stage will be Paris Roubaix 2011. Route is build, but now the longest part with all the different road types is coming. So still lasting a while for sure Wink

One little question:
How can I change the monument "velodrom" to normal sprint and not classic?
The Cyanide version shows "normal in the viewer". As it is a finishing monument there is no manual finish mark, where I could change it.

I have half of the stage finished yet with cobbled sections. Just +100m to the original route. But already 5km more pavement than in Cyanide`s version.

sam1196
why change it to normal sprint?

Don`t know yet. I wanted to try both options. Just saw that Cyanide used it.
But now I can`t compare what`s better.

Update
Paris Roubaix 2011 added in first post.

If someone has time to test, it`s very appreciated. Especially if there are lots of crashes, then I must redo the graphical elements like cities or fields.

Awesome. Great work. Downloading it now and will replace the old version with this.
