The game is indeed fucked up after one season. So the game did crash on 24 oct. Skipping a day with the editor worked. But then the next season, my goals didn't reset and no transfer happened, so everyone was still at the same team.
Now, two possibilities:
1. The transfers and goals are just another bug.
2. The transfers didn't happen because i skipped the day it should have happened.
I'm actually guessing the later, so carreer is indeed unplayable.

The thing with transfers is, as you suggest, the effect of skipping the day.
The career mode, in general, still needs some work, that's for sure. |

For me career mode is the only way I like to play. Seems like Cyanide have stepped some levels backwards with this game, hope they will succeed, but it´s sounds like the worst pcm game in many years. Absolutely unplayable. |

Why do ppl keep saying it's the worst game in the PCM series? On itself it's the best version graphic wise, feature wise, AI wise. And that is the game itself.
The things that aren't working are annoying and may look like they are ruining the game, but then again, what's better? An exact copy of 2009 or this? It's not like it can't be fixed with a patch (i guess). They can't change a whole game engine with a patch ...
So the way i see it, it's the best PCM game so far, but the most bugged, which i think, means that they released it to early. This is also shown by the fact that there aren't alot of stages.

I agree with all you wrote....except it wasn't "released too early".
Almost none of these bugs were in the beta. I have no idea how they managed to add them in later.

Did alot still got added compared to the beta-version? Because i can't see any way how they could f*ck up half of carreer mode with changing one feature or something ...

In fact, they REMOVED stages. The Tourmalet stage was working fine in every beta version.
There must be some kind of explanation but in my world this very strange. |

in every sprint my main sprinter stop following his leadout on the last 3km and just goes.....and end somwhere between 3-10
you must be very lucky, i've never been able to follow a single leadout yet and i've seen some sprint cases where my guys actually slow down when you press the sprint button ... you would never expect that to happen even in a team without real sprinters like the one i play with
i'd say there's a balance issue because i even see this happen when i try a regular attack with some lesser god who was able to keep up without big problems at the front of the pack but is unable to gain a single position after pressing the attack button because of a low attack value ... sure it happens but while the pack stays at the same speed??

As in pcm09 the scroll bars are really messed up. The result pages scrolls automatic to the top after manual scrolling towards the bottom. Same shit in the menus for creating your own team. Annoying. Another problem with the menu in the create a team mode is that the game "believes" you are holding down the mouse1 button if the marker touches onto the scroll bar(Could be done on purpose, but freaking annoying). You have to move the mouse perfectly straight off the bar to avoid scrolling past the rider you have found.
Thees are minor issues, but every pcm-player (including the developers) have noticed it from the earlier versions.
I also have the same problems in 2010 as in all the earlier versions, I cant tab out to windows when I am in the game. Sure, its not that huge bug or mistake, but I havent experienced any other games with bugs following 4 versions of the game.
It cant be that hard to fix? Or is this just happening to me? |

I experience it occasionally, usually if I do a lot of scrolling in 1 page - it has happened for me since PCM 08, but as I said, only occasionally. |

No it isn't
This has happened since the very first CyM version in 2001.
Guys like CrueTrue know what I mean.
Every year they were inexplainable bugs in the first few versions of CyM and later PCM (2005) that weren't in the final beta's.
Cyanide didn't add any features between the final beta's and the gold version either, but they always manage to somehow produce some bugs.
Often bugs that appeared in early beta versions but were fixed later on.
I keep thinking they sent the wrong version to the publisher, but then they would have made the same mistake for 10 years. That's not logical...
At any rate, I don't call it strange anymore.
This ALWAYS happens with a new version of PCM, there is always bugs in the final version that aren't in the beta's.
Don't ask how. |

It happens when Jean-Pierre, the resident coder, loudly declares that "Mon ami! I can increese the quelity of the code magnificent amoons of times!" after the beta ends. That has to be why.

after the latest patch
dont know if they are mentioned before, wont read the whole thread
1) spelling mistakes in english version. ie: Italie in Rankings etc
2) the ranking loading page for stage races is wrong for the very first stage (atleast for continental teams). It shows the ai preregistered team members for the player controlled team as taking part in the race even though you deselect them. |

Is there a way to stop leaders to sprint in flat stages of the GTs. In each one of them I get Contador, Basso, Menchov etc in the top 10-15 of flat stages, quite ennoying because they always get the points jersey.
Team Europcar !!
