Injury reports:
Dont know yet what the list looks like after E3 Prijs Vlaanderen chaos...but before that we have:
Franco Pellizotti has been already long time injured..still we dont have any news about he's return.
Kim Kirchen
Saunier-Duval Giro hope Gilberto Simoni has also injured. Giro cant be perfect if he is out.

Stage 4
Scandiano - Serramazzoni
Decisive stage..that last climb and uphill finish will give us tour winner. Piil would be difficulty to protect he's jersey. Possible is that some other T-Mobile rider will step up and makes TTT win for gold after all. Possible man cant be Linus..Option 2. climbers will fight each other for major price ...tour GC win.
Breakaway group Chadwick, Rubiano Chavez, Bruson and Solari.
Main action starts 60km. before finish line Loosli atacks and Zaugg follows. Predictor-Lotto team is protecting their only hope Brandt...Evans also in Brandt protection busines. This is must be morale boost for Brandt.
This is more serious 17km. to go Piepoli on the fire..this happens on that small hills before last climb.
Soler and Astana Giro hope Savoldelli follows...also Petrov later on.
Piepoli cant keep lead alone against 3...and they form realy strong group. Brandt should atack now...
Here we go..Cunego, Brandt and Noe. Come one Cunego drag Brandt in that first group.
This is good Cunego did hard relay and we got first 8...Selle joins main group.
Last corner before finish Savoldelli leads..Cunego. Brandt cant follow this..he just trys to keep up.
Savoldelli takes a win..and T-Mobile loose he's leader jersey for Astana rider. Good ride for Brandt..he is close to he's top form..he jumps over 10 places hire in GC.
One sprinters stage to go.

ASO has anounced Paris - Robaix teams list..wildcard go's to Agritubel and Tinkoff
Wiesenhof-Felt manager Raphael Schweda told that he's not surprised after news that Wiesenhof-Felt team has left out at team main goal race. ASO unpopular decisions has come these days cycling reality. I feel today helpless...Pollack and Weseman winter and spring preparations has gone down in toilet. If ASO choosing between good race vs. "best friends" second option...there is nothing what we can to about it.
Also Giro has anounced he's wild card teams..those will be Panaria and Barloworld.
This bad news for Garzelli and Acqua-Sapone team.
Rider of the month:
Samuel Sanchez Gonzales - Milano - San Remo win... Paris-Nice overall 2nd. place and UCI ranking clear leader...Samulel's march has been like a dream.
Best young rider:
Said Haddou
Some good news also Giro star Gilberto Simoni is training again after injury cure.

This is terrible weather again O C...freezing. We have van Summeren, Aerts and van Huffel..good trio to make some nice tactic race.
Kuyckx and Brooks form together early breakaway duo.
43 km. to..action starts Bellotti atacks..Thijs follows. Decided one at strong 3 van Huffel to follow...Vasseur also follows. This can be the moment.
Vasseur feels very confident today..he makes double atacks and go's for solo.
Tschopp, Belloti and van Huffel make a chase group. Vasseur going very strong today..gap between him increasing..this is over a minut for now.
Tactic play starts..in that small hill when 15.km to go van Summeren atacks out of the peloton and joins van Huffel group.
van Huffel moves in front..and give's everything what he has left.
Last small hill 5km. before finish and van Summeren launches he's second atack and destroyes that group only Johann Tschopp can follow.
Vasseur takes nice solo win.
van Summeren second..he hangs on against Tschopp. That was so far my best tactical race. van Huffel also 5th. great.

Zottegem - Zottegem
We can say this is hardest stage..small hills and coble. After today's race we can already say who can be candidate for overall win. I cant wait and see..what is Boonen form after he missed all coble races.
I'm clad that at least Hoste and Leukemans are both in top form (96) when tour starts.
64km. to go Burghardt decided to follow Petito atack.
And for solo he go's. This is very brave move for T-Mobile rider..attempt to decide tour win at the first stage. He shure have potential for that..other teams should be worried.
Peloton increases the speed..and we have already main riders in first group after split: Pozzato, Paolini, Boonen, Leukemans, Hoste,Flecha ,van Petegem and Hincapie.
13km. to go and Burghardt solo is over..Flecha want to take advantage at that situation and atacks. Hoste counters right away.
Hoste got small gap between the group..still 10km. to go... a little to early, this strong group will probably chase him down. He decided to wait the group..
Flecha with Hincapie moves to front and speed increases again...and we get some answers about Boonen form..he cant follow. Pozzato is now main favorite, he doesnt work in front and looks very fresh today.
After cat and mouse play..(wich helped Boonen to keep himself at the GC game)..Flecha opens the sprint.
Pozzato takes a win..Hoste 2nd...Flecha must in good form also..he beats Hincapie and crosses the line in 3rd. place.

Stage 2
Zottegem - Koksijde
Today is for sprinters. Boonen has again perfect chanche to proof that I has been wrong..when I talked about he's form.
Time for sprint..Rabo and van Heeswijk, T-Mobile and Hammond...Predictor and Hoste with Steels. Vierhouten and Grillo (Panaria)
Out of last corner Pipo leading...he's going for double. Hoste he chasing him...in top form Hoste can actualy sprint. Hammond coming at right..Boonen is boxed..no chanche today.
Sry. lost line picture..but here is the results. Pippo and double..Hoste realy good third place. Hoste have to keep gap between Pippo has short as possible..to beat him later in final short TT.

Stage 3
De Panne - De Panne
Second sprint stage..again same story. Have to keep up with Pippo..or hope some other rider takes sprint extra seconds.
Liquigas and Quickstep controling a pace.that should be clear by now wich riders should be affraid at the sprint.
Eisel punctures...is this one sprint threat out..now one at the team dont come back to help him..ofcorse T-mobile also have Hammond who was exelent yesterday. Eisel make it back to peloton...
Prepearing for sprint again peloton has been lazy..van Petegem sliping away. Hoste follows Hincapie. Steels has also in the game..Pippo closing at left side.
van Petegem in front..Boonen is off and closing. How team will react? Hincapie main contender for 3rd place..Hammond at left. Pippo is flying..to late. Hoste getting boxed this time..Steels has much experienced sprinter managed today much better.
Ok Boonen must be angry today..van Petegem takes the win. Quickstep double.
Today we should take closer look to the GC table..tomorrow we have tour last stage 14km. total flat TT: Main question is -will Pozzato hangs on..against Hincapie and Hoste TT skills? Boonen also doesnt have out of the picture yet..

Stage 4 (last TT)
Koksijde - De Panne
Last TT..Hoste is in super form and he is much better TT rider when Pippo who has 20sec. advantage before last stage. Most of all I afraid big "George" who has just 12sec. behind. Distance himself has 14km. totaly flat ground.
Today I dont look stage winner..but will completly concentrate main riders and overall win competition. First and most dangerous rider to follow is George..when he crosses the line he take's 5sec. lead at so far best man Ignatiev (Tinkoff). Lets say that he takes also lead in GC in that moment.
Tom Boonen..before the race he had just 4 sec. advantage for Hincapie...this seems like mission impossible take a win. At the line +37 to Hincapie..this also means that Boonen has also out of podium.
second quickstep rider van Petegem...he had -12sec. against Hincapie. Dont think he can hold he's second place before the TT. Time - he 2 seconds slower then Tom Boonen (now is Tom definatly angry about last stage van Petegem sprint win..team mate beats him in final GC at 6sec.)...but nothing promising against Hincapie. Hincapie is now in podium for shure..lets see can he "climb" even further.
Now I go in opposite direction to have more fun..last man at the race Pippo..before start he had -20sec. against Hoste and -32 before Hincapie. In the line ..he looses to Hincapie 21sec...and that mean he has beaten him.
We see Leif in start podium...when he starts. I should ride perfect ride, has Predictor-Lotto have short at good TT riders Hoste is one of the stars in that category.Times what he gets middle of the race are good..he moving much faster then Pippo behind him...20 sec. he got it already..but he keep himself pushing even more harder. In the line..absolute best time..he beats even Hincapie with 11 sec. He is so surprised for that and after a line he turned he's head back twice for double check. This is it. GC win for Hoste. This is exelent sign before ProTour cobble races.
Leukemans- dont forget him eather- He passes with TT Flecha and Paolini..finishing 6th. place.

Very important race for the team and for sponsors..sponsors who has been at this season quite happy with me demanding a win...All cobble stars is in the lineup, also Bettini..Boogerd, few strong sprinters like Davis, Freire. But I belive this is gonna be between Hincapie, Flecha, Hoste, Pozzato..big question mark is Boonen has been lately clearly out of form (reminds me little real life) but Quickstep will be in picture they have also Steegmans and why not even Bettini on those hills. T-Mobile Hammond, Burghardt, Klier make also dangerous force.
I had big arguments with Robbie..he wanted to ride also on that race, but I risked with my job and sayd no. This seems to pointless to me let him to strugle on those hills..After that Robbies morale is lower, I had been lot of trouble with this super star sprinter at this season. I realy hope he is best shape on TdF..because one of my goals is take a green there.

Brugge - Meerbeke
Famous 258km. race...after flat first part action should start 17 short climbs..last 2 ( Muur and Bosberg) will be perfect place to atack and destroy that small group wich should be left at this time.
106 km. to Gusev atacks?..now he might just tryed he's legs with short speed up.
Freire puncture...this is not dangerous yet..peloton still moving quite slow.
Ok..hilly show..just before first hill Liquigas team moves in front..and controling the tempo now one. Also Hoste with he's protection squad...waiting close to Liquigas to avoid possible punctures.
60km. to go...T-Mobile and Quickstep made a mistake..they found himself to the chase group. Liquigas in front notice that and they speed up even more.
First group fpr now..Flecha, Neyens, Leukemans, Hoste, Hincapie, "Pippo team", Kroon and Cancellara. Quickstep closing fast. Also I have first signes that Hoste have difficulty to follow on those mountains. Leukemans feeling much better...decision Leukemans is off at Hoste protection job..and gonna ride he's own race.
10km. later..yep it happens Quickstep catches the peloton and Hoste cant follow anymore..he ride for now in strong chase group where we have also Paolini, Boogerd, Cancellara, Flecha and Burghardt.
Next climb Leukemans moves in front and trys to set a little higher tempo. He feeling a lot better when Hoste at hills. Good that I have such a go- leader and perfect man for back up plan.
To climbs to go..and Bettini opens atack wave...Bettini cant get away.. Hicapie trys same result. Pozzato...much better he gets 10m advantage..
Leukemans trys to catch Pippo back wheel..he have to but 100%...dangerous movw he can easy "kill himself" at the same point.
5km. to go..this is not over yet..chasers have serious plan to chase Leukemans and Pippo down..gap between 42...37...32..28..
..at the same time. Hoste riding in third group with major favorite Boonen, Burghardt, Boogerd.
...at front. Leukemans takes the lead..he is already riding with he's reserves..he knows he has no power to sprint against Pippo (who has reason play cat and mouse game and hope to win this..by powerful sprint). Leukemans main goal is stay clear at chasers group and take at least second place.
Pippo takes a win..Leukemans has no chanche against him. But 2nd. place...pleased manager I am after today. Sponsors are a little dissapointed they wanted to win.
