I'm sure I'm late with the news but Radio Shack got Pro Tour license. My question though is, does anyone know about the teams equipment yet? I've yet to see a jersey for them or what bikes they'll ride or any of that.

Since they've got Armstrong, they'll most likely be riding Trek. |

They'll be riding Trek's, with Bontrager components and wheels, and a Sram drivetrain (all required by Lance's sponsorship contracts, and I had this confirmed by a Trek rep). Nike may supply the apparel (they've been out of cycling for about a year (not including custom stuff for pros) so its not guaranteed they'll be the sponsor), and I'd put money on Giro for helmets (maybe Bontrager if that doesn't go through, but I doubt it). |

So all the typical Armstrong equipment then, as I would have guessed. Any hint at what their Jersey will look like?

No clue, but with a red/black/white color scheme, I wouldn't be surprised if the bikes look a little something like this:

They've been out of cycling, but they've never left Lance, seen all his t-shirts he wears, then them livestrong jerseys. I'd say it's safe to assume Nike will sponsor all the apparel.

I know, but I couldn't get that confirmed, so I left it out |

The Germans keep digging in the Ullrich/Fuentes case. Not that I find it really interesting, but anyway:
A police report shows that, after having restored some deleted data from Pevenage's computer, that Ullrich started using Fuentes' services in 2003. In the period from 2003 to 2006, Ullrich visited Fuentes 5-6 times per year.
Yet another piece of 'evidence': Sara Ullrich, Jan Ullrich's wife, sent a mail on the 12th of July to Wolfgang Strohband, Ullrich's manager. In it was included a draft paper of Ullrich's explanation to the media.
It said:
"I have to admit that I have had a connection to Spain. (...) I've 'donated' blood in Spain, but I've never used the method (blood doping)."
So pretty much the same explanation as Basso eventually ended up using. Only difference is that Ullrich thought it would be wiser to plead not guilty |

And there is that statement that he paid Fuentes because Fuentes helped him to drop weight.
This guy is a multitalent. Apart from being a gynecologist, he writes training plans, helps people with weight problems and stores massive amount of blood.
I think i have to go to Madrid so he can heel my knee. |

I'm surprised that they even managed to find a new sponsor. |

They were signing riders (well, not too many) so it isn't surprising at all. They say that "in the next days the roster will be filled". Let's wait to see what they do, but surely Intxausti won't go to Euskaltel after all. |

In other good news, Garmin has announced that they've extended their sponsorship deal with Garmin - Slipstream. The deal now runs up to and including the 2012 season. |

Did I read somewhere that Euskaltel were not continuing as sponsors next year? Or am I just imaging that? |

I read that on this site after Astroloza's positive test, although as none of their riders seem to be going anywhere else I doubt it.
