EPIC - Season 1 Part 2
Ollfardh
Talansky, I did not expect that! It was a great race actually, one of the better I've seen so far. Too bad for Po-ding though Smile
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

What a monumental clusterfuck my team has produced here.

Pleased that a likeable rider has won it, even though he rides for Garmin. Pfft

It's a good race indeed, going to type the last stage in a second. And then I'll start Norway if you want Wink

Is there some great conspiracy to make me suffer with updating the rankings with 5-10 stages each day?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

EPIC Easter madness!

Please, please update them Pfft
I'm so fucking curious about them Grin

Also: (About the rankings Pfft)

Europcar should be up there around now.
That should better give a massive reward at the end of the season Angry Grin

I fear the worse for Argos, relegation is looming for us, I should get sacked and take over Novo Nordisk.

Rankings after the Giro, and no, it doesn't mean I want 6 Giro stages a day so we're done after the weekend Pfft

Stage Eight

www.procyclingstats.com/races/profilesmaps/2013-02/thumbs/Amgen-Tour-of-California-Stage-8-1360691315.png

i.share.pho.to/5705b17e_l.png

Break of the day is from the off, with almost 100% chance it will be successful... it contains Atapuma, Beyer, Firsanov and Huzarski.

i.share.pho.to/585ebac0_l.png

Arroyo and Van Goolen a familiar face a cotton onto previous trends.

i.share.pho.to/27973e7a_l.png

The stage starts off with some very steep hills, it's up and down. The six have a 3'58" at the start of the climbing.

i.share.pho.to/89263e3e_l.png

Now you see the peloton passing through, 4'04" later.

i.share.pho.to/8e7a16ea_l.png

The next climb is steep and longer but they get over working together well.

i.share.pho.to/c9489f52_l.png

No one is dropped from the peloton, not even Zac Bell (CSS). They are strolling at the moment.

i.share.pho.to/54767781_l.png

80km to go we get a glimpse of soon to be crowned Tour of California winner, Andrew Talansky, Garmin-Sharp.

i.share.pho.to/dab47139_l.png

It's mostly flat to the end now, the break has a 3'27" lead.

i.share.pho.to/a35777d6_l.png

MTN are working on the front, they will want Kennedy to back up Grmay's result yesterday.

i.share.pho.to/0d676cdf_l.png

Van Goolen leads the break over the last bump of the race, they have a 1'22" lead now, maybe we will have our first proper bunch sprint after all.

i.share.pho.to/9d53e1c5_l.png

20km to go, J. Sagan leads Cannondale and the peloton through 20km to go.

i.share.pho.to/1a4475eb_l.png

15km to go, Bennett is on the front trying to keep the pace up

i.share.pho.to/e6d32ae7_l.png

The California split! Rolland (EUC) 9th GC and Lewis (BMC) 12th GC are caught out!

i.share.pho.to/54abeff5_l.png

Another split! Phinney, Brajkovič (11th) is caught out behind! Kennedy (MTN) is also there, all of MTN's work on the front for nothing.

i.share.pho.to/d8e0f521_l.png

Under 5 to go, the break look very dangerous again, Arroyo goes on the attack!
Voigt abandoned the race, he crashed own his own.

i.share.pho.to/ae51a34e_l.png

OPQS are on the front, it's going to be a tight finish again.

i.share.pho.to/d7805c97_l.png

Arroyo opens up a significant gap, even if the break is caught he might not be!

i.share.pho.to/bed11784_l.png

Sabatini led out Sagan, Farrar was on his wheel but didn't follow, he doesn't have anything left after these 8 days.

i.share.pho.to/7b1ccd0a_l.png

But oh no, Sagan is stuck in traffic! He looks like he has been pulled over by the traffic wardens for speeding!

i.share.pho.to/079afa81_l.png

Sagan goes again, but Arroyo has already put his arms in the air!

i.share.pho.to/86161dbc_l.png

He wins, he doesn't even look at Sagan, all he knows is that its CJR's first win of the season! The group some what regroups, but Rolland still misses out, very disappointing for Europcar after he decided not to help Po-Ding yesterday. Sagan needs know words.

Congrats to Talansky and Garmin, they win AToC. Despite a flat stage we saw a change in the top 10, Rolland spirals out for EUC, Velits says thank you very much, he takes over 9th, Astana man Brajkovic fills the 10th place after making it back to the peloton, they really did slow down.

NetApp don't go away empty handed, they won the team classification.

That concludes Tour of California, I've decided it's not fun if the break wins every time... but hey now we can all focus on the Giro!

i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/EPIC%20Reports/PCM1137_zps042a3053.jpg
