I'm playing as Tinkoff-saxo.
the season started really bad with no results in january or febrary.
then i got to marts, where my best results were 6th in tirreno (kreuziger) and 2nd in Criterium International.
April started bad as well, with just a 5th place in the basque with Contador.
my best result came in Fléche Wallone - Contador 3th.
Tour of Romandie was shitty - best was kreuziger as #16
but then the giro started. my team starred Majka and Roche, who was going to battle against strong riders like Porte, RodrÃguez, Quintana, Evans and Uran.
stage #1 started fairly with a 7th place in the prolog for Boaro!
at stage 4 we were going to ride a TTT... And we won with 16 seconds down to Movistar - Boaro in Pink!
stage 6 - RodrÃguez won in a group with Roche - Rodriguez in 2nd and Roche in Pink.
stage 7 - Victory for Roche in Pink!
stage 19 - Roche is still in Pink - leading with 11 secons down to Quintana and Uran, and 13 seconds down to RodrÃguez -
stage won by Ellisonde.
Roche keeps the Pink jersey and 2.30 minutes on Quintana and Uran.
RodrÃguez now second - 21 seconds after
stage 20:
won by Gautier.
but Roche loses 36 seconds to Purito
#1 Purito
#2 Roche - +12"
stage 21 ITT:
won by Weening (?)
#9 Roche +9"
#19 Purito +17"........
final result:
#1 Purito
#2 Roche +7"
#3 Porte +1'46"
#4 Quintana +2'15"
#5 Uran +2'47"
can't believe i came so close to the GT win.....

@jako: Wow, that's a real shame. 2nd is very impressive for Roche though, beating riders like Quintana!
edit:
@Conardo: What you could do is either wait for the 2014DB of Daily or update the rosters yourself, based on the roster update. That in case you want to keep on playing with the DailyDB

Willier Cycling Team
New year and yet another new sponsor. The teams 3rd season is going to be our biggest yet and a lot has changed.

Loads of new riders and lots of improvements in the standing guard. We will use this to full effect with more races, bigger races and WT races! Yep we are heading to Tirreno, Eneco, Vattenfall, Plouay, Quebec, Montreal, Lombardia and... Il GIRO! All will be key to a big season long promotion push.
Matthews takes center stage and will hope to big a strong scorer. More than a pure sprinter he could take home some GC's given a chance.
Trentin is much the same but will more be filling the role in other squads rather than pure leading.
Swifty had a great 2015 and will hope to repeat a lot of that success again
Wiles missed his big results due to a number of crashes but if he stays upright the world will tumble before him
CAS sticks around to lead again for the team. An awesome 2015 repeat is on the cards now there is more support
Karl isn't quite ready to tackle the biggest names, but hopes to dominate at the PCT/CT level
Lasnik will be hoping for a number of wins again and is still chasing his first GC win. The WT beckons his talent
Villella adds another climbing dimension and has sights on the Giro. That's his goal for the season and should do well.
Loads of strong riders behind to support and steal points. Dowsett is the hidden key. Strong TT backed up with consistent above expectation performances in 2015 carried us well up the table. It's also quite a young team and if we can hold onto 75% of these guys we'll be strong for a number of seasons.
Predicted Giro Team: Trentin, Wiles, Villella, Nicol, Fuchs, Alafaci, Locatelli, Agostini, Malev
Predicted Finish: Promotion

Looks good!
Though your ''regens'' didn't develop as hard as I expected, except for Wiles.

Lasnik 73 > 78?
And remember i put limits on them. Karl is only going to 77CB, Krisitan to 76SP.
Nicol has quite a way to come as does Fuchs but both have suddenly hit a run of development.
I didn't want loads of power riders anyway and i'm very happy with the way they have developed. Makes for a nicely rounded team and i can then plug a couple of gaps.

Oh yeah, Lasnik.
I thought you set really high limits on them though. Probably only Lasnik & Wiles then...

No low limits on most. Weiland maxed, Livshits maxed, Velduizen maxed, Krisitan almost maxed, Johan was maxed, Malev maxed, Van Achteren almost maxed, Karl almost maxed.

Incredible.
1st time I won the Tour de France and it's with ... Matthew Busche in the 2013 edition in difficult mode.

We incredibly took 33' in the 1st stage and I manage to keep the margin until the end of the race with 5' left on Froome.

Thanks to Van Garederen, Talansky, Hanson, Euser, Howes, Phinney, Bookwalter for the job !
I wore the yellow jersey for 20 days since Langeveld won the 1st stage.

PCM Logic - Let breakaway win with more than half of hour in first stage. How realistic. But anyways, it's absolutely great result - congratulations!

Started as Azad University with FCD 2013.. After all that simming I forgot how much fun it is to race some unknown shitty race in Africa, where your goal is to win a stage with your shitty Iranian riders. And then when you pass all other sprinters in the 2nd stage in the last 50m and achieve your goal with some nameless Iranian... man that feels good |

Willier
Giro update!
Our first GT was a mixed affair. Agostini missed the race via injury forcing Malev to step in as a replacement.
Villella kicked things off on Stage 2 by taking the KoM jersey. He would defend the competition lead until Stage 16, take it back on Stage 17 before ultimately finishing second to Quintana after Stage 20. Total 18 days in lead of the KoM is pretty impressive!
Fuchs got the best stage result, with 3rd on the final day time trial beating some established names like Van Garderen.
Wiles headed the GC front and had a mixed race. In the end it came together as he took 15th overall following a solid, if slightly underwhelming, final week.
Trentin did take a couple of Top10's in sprints, and Willier was the only team to end the race with 9 riders.
Does mean we lead the PCT rankings and have a 200 point lead in the promotion chase.
