The first break of the day consists of three riders who are Hansen/Christina Watches, Alarcon/Efapel Glassdrive and Korus/Kenda 5 Hour Energy
They have been joined by Bouyer/Team Europcar, Casimiro/Carmin Prio and Yovchev/Amore & Vita and have stretched the lead out to 2m 53s
The six have got a nice rhythm going between them and the lead is nearly at the five minute mark
SPRINT - Bouyer/Team Europcar
The pace has picked up in the peleton with a number of teams sharing the work

The peleton are less than a minute behind so it looks like the break is doomed for failure
With the break safely back in the peleton, several teams have seen there opportunity to get to the front and try and force the pace
Team Type 1 seem to have the better organised train at the moment but you cannot rule out Endura Racing just yet
Mangel of Saur Sojasun leads the pack under the red kite
And he holds on to claim the first stage here in France and will be the wearer of the leaders jersey tomorrow
