Yeah, real drop off these past few years from him, although it's a classic chicken vs. egg, hard to tell if it's because Vacansoeil isn't giving him the chances, or he hasn't done enough behind the scenes to warrant them. I personally feel it's the latter, although at only 33 he probably isn't done quite yet.
Would seem to be a smart pickup for say, Farense-Vini? |

Well, the brits obviously think he should be another helper at sky...
So I hope for his own good that he ends up at AG2R!

It will be sky...
A climber who suffered from a major illness, only recently returned to cycling. Starts winning races in a dominant fashion.
It has to be Sky he goes to, then he'll become Froome 2.0
AG2R would be nice but lets be serious, it will be Sky. He is british, and they will pay him lots...

I love this. He has won one single race in his two years at Rabobank, so his career has definitely stagnated. Which is a shame because he is a heck of a cyclist.
Hopefully he can get back to winning ways with Saxo Bank, and forget about his stupid plans of making the Ardennes and not the cobbled classics his main objective. So far, there's no Cancellara he has to work for.
