I'm making my comeback in (American) football tomorrow: Næstved Vikings vs. Avedøre Monarchs, the latter being the team I play for.
I played for the team as a junior, but then got busy with school and other stuff. So after a break of a few years, I returned in November last year.
Anyone else playing football? |

Seems odd to talk about American Football for most of the post, then ask a question about a different sport!

I do. Just with friends and stuff. I guess thats more like Rugby with NFL the NFL rules but I'm pretty good at it. I'm just a little under-weight to play (American) Football.
What position do you play? I'd probably be a WR because I can run fast and usually catch the ball.

Under-weight? Not possible. There are positions for everyone
I've trained as OL, but I'm also being used as DL and Tight End. I'll just have to wait and see. In terms of weight/size, I'm much "smaller" than the usual OLs and DLs, but I enjoy the challenge |

Oh DL is fun, if you're good. Do you pull the Dwight Freeney "spin move" often?

I just play football/soccer, however you want to call it.
But we wanted to start with American Football in one of our University training groups. Just for fun. but I still prefer Rugby as the game is faster without that many stops although much more compared to football. |

I am thinking about starting up at Aarhus Tigers, but I can't figure out my position, as I am not really built for anything . Perhaps a TE, but not sure...
My mate and I went to Rookie Day and played as TE's, and it was so much fun |

Rugby is such a cool thing to watch
But I prefer tennis for myself, it´s more funny to destroy your rivals on the court with ugly dropshots
Is anyone watching the Snooker WC at the moment? |

Sometimes when I am bored I switch to Eurosport 2, where they show a lot of Snooker. Not my favourite sport but always stunning to see their skills.
Just came back from a demonstration against racism. Still lots of tear gas and pepper spray in my nose/eyes. Stupid thing. |

And I had lots of fun winning 56-6 today
I played the game as Defensive End, one of my favourite positions. |

Exactly. I'm happy for Europe, USA, actually all countries of the world that it finally has happened, but i think the consequences from it will come and it will propably be a/some revenge attacks from Al-Qaida. |

But the first I read in the article was that his face isn`t to identify any more. That made me a bit sceptical.
There are so many things around this person and the USA that doesn`t match.
But definitely a huge news.

That's huge news indeed, although his current or recent implication remains to be proved (by that I mean that I doubt it'll stop terrorist attacks). A couple of weeks ago they had already gotten rid of Al Qaeda's n°1 in Pakistan (or was it Afghanistan ?).
His body has already been buried (in the ocean), btw.
What sounds weird to me is that Bush or others call it Justice. Sorry but that's revenge, not justice. It's not the same thing...
Too bad they couldn't catch him alive and trial him. |
