Iniesta might not start the euro tournament after coming down with food poisoning. The game he would miss would be against russia

Hughes is now close to becoming City boss, while Blackburn have lined up Sam Allerdyce as there replacement.
Chelsea will now turn to Spellitzzi (roma boss ) and Roberto Mancini as they have lost out to there top two targets, although Deschamps and Zola still remain outsiders.
oh and this:
A host of Premier League clubs are tracking Austrian hit-man Roland Linz, skysports.com understands.
The likes of West Ham, Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Fulham have all scouted him in recent months and are now set to step up their interest.
The Sporting Braga star has been in fine form this season in Portugal and will be looking to expand his growing reputation as he spearheads the host nation's attack this summer.
somehow i sensed this was coming

Anitti niemi's agent has denied reports that his client is on his way to Hull City.
He said that he has a very good relationship with phil brown but he hasnt heard anything yet.
He goes on to say that his client will be leaving fulham after they signed Mark

The man's name is Spalletti. And i hope that he doesn't leave my beloved Roma. But i wouldn't begrudge him if he did go.

FC Porto has been excluded from Champion's League due to the corruption scandale which is mentioned in another thread in this forum. Porto has appealed the decision to CAS. |

Hell yeah. The team at Blackburn is basically awful, but he turned them into a unit and a very hard team to break down. I've no doubt that he'll do well at City.

the other day I spent half an hour convincing a spanish guy that what I was telling him was in fact the "evidence" that Porto were convicted based on.
I understand his refusal to accept. anyone being convicted based on nothing at all is hard to believe. |

A random TV channel invited a professor of law to be interviewed on the case during the news.
basically he said two things:
1. there is no proof. Porto have been convicted based on no proof at all (not that anyone didn't know that already)
2. if porto decide to sue the Portuguese League (the ones who sanctioned them), they are sure to win and the financial compensation they will have to pay should amount to a few dozen million euros.
so, I personally couldn't be cooler about this
