Admitedly most of the riders went for the breakaway 2 days in a row, so he is not unique there. I guess the first mountain stage wasnt that tough. |

he's not the first rider to win two Giro mountain stages in consecutive days by being in the break both times. Parra did it in 2005 |

The main GC riders were watching each other - they werent going to waste energy chasing Pozzovivvo who they probably do not perceive to be a threat

the final TT is just under 30kms. the last time a TT this short was in the Giro, Pozzovivo lost over 7 minutes. he's definitely not a threat.
It's also not his first giro |

British Eurosport are not even going to broadcast today's stage - just highlights tonight. They'd rather show French Open Tennis and British Superbikes
That means no english commentary today, unless the cycling.tv link works |

Anyone think Rujano is on his way out Caisse d'Epargne? He's the team leader, and he's currently 50th overall. |

Whats wrtong with british superbikes! Can understand about the tennis!
But people who hate cycling would ask the same question during the tour de france last year as one of the stages started at 10:30 on eurosport which was silly.
No one wants to see the first 100km and its only exciting in time trials when the last few go off so better than missing a proper mountain stage |

A lot of the riders who are ok at mountains actually find it easier in the breakaway, as the pace is steady. In the gruppeto or other groups just in front, the pace shifts up and down loads. So they probably aren't any worse off than other riders who didn't go in the break the same day.

I don't follow Superbikes, and to be honest its a pretty hardcore sport in the UK - I know only a single person who follows it. It just shows you how low down in the pecking order cycling can be in schedulers priorities though - the 'super' bikes will have finished racing by the time the GC leaders set off today - will Eurosport cut over to the cycling? Will they ****. Instead, they'll do loads of post race chat AND then show a half hour clip show of bikes crashing. I love this bloody country.
I don't know how many times the coverage has been cut short this Giro either - everytime I seem to watch the program stops before the podiums.
AND dont get me started on Tennis. |

Why do you want to watch the podiums thats a bit silly to be honest, i just watch the race then thats it also if you think how many people what the bike racing week in week out at the tracks lots of people also their are more brits in the bike racing and two they go the rights of sky for the british superbikes so they probaly think its a major coo having it . I know what you mean about the tennis absolutely shocking and theydont have wimbolden on eurosport so whats the point in having the rest B) |
