I think it is you who performs like a pussy here
That was uncalled for.
and mostly childish. rjc made a valid backed-up point (even if he did make it in a somewhat dick-ish manner ) and you're response is that he's a pussy
okay, let him be arrogant and vulgar, i forgot he is cycling expert,so he can still charge someone who is not so good in his eyes (that is childisch).I only say be tolerant please
He only called you an idiot, here thats not vulgar at all, probably one of the most common words.
However a reaction from you makes it worse. Next time, just ignore it, it may anoy you, but it's the best way to go.

I'm fairly sure it wasn't. And most certainly not on the national scale of the former Soviet Eastern Europe.
the place of birth doesn't make you a doper or a clean rider depending on were you born.
It can certainly have a great effect. Where you're brought up and how you're brought up will affect your attitudes towards doping. And if the coaches are still around who still think it's ok, then...

He actually called me an idiot, not him.
Not that it makes any difference.. Last time I checked, making stupid comments is not treated as an early sign of any known mental condition.
On the other hand, being a dick is just not very nice
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

I agrre with Crommy that it is very important where the rider grows up and i am proud to say that in Czech Republic and in Slovakia there is minimal amount od doping cases in last ten years (except some weed and cocaine cases )

I'm talking by memory, but if I remeber correctly, at least Italy, Finland and the USA had an institutionalised doping program. Maybe West Germany too, but I'm not sure right now. Anyhow, odds that most athletes o both sides were doped are high.
Regerding the effect of the birth place, well, most of the Soviet rainers were hired by Western European and north American federations to 'train' their athletes. Doping is now pretty much an international problem, so the odds of a Russian or a Spaniard being a doper, while still being higher than those of a French, for instance, aren't too different than those of a citizen of any other country. Just look at the impressive improvement of cycling in the anglo-saxon countries in the last years. I'm pretty sure they weren't 'controlled' by the USSR, were they? |

Sagan is a sprinter who can climb, and now that Bettini and Freire are essentially gone there is room for a rider like that too win a lot of stages, also the fact that he seems to have been riding well for most of the season is a point in his favour.

i think the original point, not made by you, was that he wasn't doped because he wasn't spanish or italian, not that he was doped because he was a slovak

Ahh. Paul Sherwen was talking about Brajkovic and how he once was a former national TT champion, when he was clearly in different colors from the regular Shack jersey.
