What football has become oh god..
Hazard gets sent off for kicking (the ball) the ballboys ribs who is more a diver than any other diver like Bale or Suarez. Laying on the ball on the pitch instead of giving it especially what has he lost there on the pitch, shouldn't they hide behind the commercial banners? And how he pretended he got very badly hurt by Hazard..
Plus a ball boy from rich parents who hold a stake at Swansea FC and he announced that on twitter plus photos showing him drinking beer. A ball "boy"^^
Even though I am aware of that clubs tell their ballboys to waste time/helping the team happens also here in Germany but they just throw the ball not to the player but somewhere else like over the player or pretend they don't have a ball so another ball boy from row Z has to run down the line throwing their ball.
Thinking what happened if not Hazard was there but Barton or Cantona or even Podolski. I was raised where Podolski was raised and playing football here is tough, a lot of kicking but not the ball but rather your feet etc.
I guess the ball boy would have been hurt badly but not that soft touch by Hazard.
And some people called the police for that incident.. Come on.. Has the police nothing better to do than clearing that up?
What a disgrace..

It's a shame that the incident has taken away how good Swansea's achievement has been. |

Well. The ball boy surely didn`t do right. But still Hazard deserved this red card. He btw. didn`t kicked the ball. He hit his ribs. No reason to act like the ball boy afterwards, but still a red card as Hazard surely overreacted there as well. |

I agree with Roturn, in my opinion, both are stupid. Ball boy for delaying and Hazard is (rather should be) a multi-millions earning proffesional, not someone on the village pitch, so very stupid to kick that child into his ribs, and it was clearly ribs and not the ball.
They met after the match and both apologized, but Hazard will face suspension imo...and that is good.

What should have he done? Waiting until the time runs out? 10 minutes injury time because some idiot wants his seconds of fame? I am waiting for an interview (where he gets money for) in an english newspaper
He isn't a child he is 17! I wonder if any "child" is allowed to drink alcohol
Plus he kicked the ball more than him.. And it would have been hurting if Hazard kicks him with the tip of the boot and not with the shinbone.
I wonder if he is in hospital or goes tomorrow (like a child has to ) to school as he is sooo badly injured by that he is a worse actor than Rob Schneider.

There is a ref, who would take this extra time. Plus there is more than 1 ball to ask for. This guy surely is annoying and shouldn`t be a ball boy ever again.
But every kick or even the attempt needs the red card. Hazard still is some kind of role model for others, so this is not sportsman like no matter if he was provocated or not.
And Rob Schneider btw is great.

Come on Rin, you know he aint no injured, but as a proffesional footballer, you cant kick the ball boys, even if you see them banging your wife at sidelines. At least that is not what i want to watch. (kicking, not sure about thta banging)
And anyone who is 17 is a child for me.  Because boys in 17 have no reason usually as i remember from own experiences. He is dumb and he was playing like Busquets, but that does not justify waht Hazard did (maybe he can grab the boy and roll him on his back instead of kicking?)

I guess if he is injured he wouldn't be afterwards at the Chelsea locker room but more treated for a broken rib.
Why should Hazard look for a ball miles away when a ball is available but the opponents ball "boy" goes over the banner and throws himself on the ball blocking it? Ball boys are there to speed up the play and not wasting the time.
Also in the Bundesliga I saw in 18 years not one 17 year old "ball boy". You would expect that someone who is 17 years old knows what he does.. He is a teenager but not a child..

There is no question for us as well that the ball boy was slowing down the game and not doing what he was supposed to do.
But we have seen this quite often in the past, where ball boys are throwing the ball away or just don`t give it to you.
But none of the other players had kicked him then. As said there is always a ref and he will note the time in case it takes very long. So even if you get provocated a lot, this is no excuse for what he did there.
And surely the ball boy should get a penalty as well. Be it a few months stadium ban, no longer being a ball-boy or anything else. (Probably he won´t) |
