Sky doping is not a debate nor a new thing. Surprised people are still argueing over it.

A friend of mine posted this about the TV post-race commentary today:
Marco Chagas, former Portuguese champion not known outside Portugal, basically said after the stage he was just waiting for 6 or 7 years until all this is uncovered like usual, all he's speech on the final kms is that it was basically not possible what was happening.

Yep, he was like that. he said that he was ''scared'' that this dominance was just like another rider. And we know what that rider then becomed. |

Aquarius can probably tell you more about Grappé's methods when he posts here later today
EDIT: Did you change nickname? 4000 posts and I've never seen you around here before?
I see. So you would say the entire professional road cycling scene is not on linear periodization? I know the professional MTB scene is doing their training reversed like that always training the short all-out bouts intervals all year. That's basically where I have my knowledge from as I stay away from the whole cycling-on-tarmac thingy. But of course different sport.

Basically the current rage seems to be to not vary your training exercises much, and just simulate the kind of effort you'll do (45 min mountain for example) over and over and over again.
And go into it from the start of pre-season without bothering to try to develop stamina first

Well, its not a bad thing all together.
Now Vueltaen and the Giro will be where the real racing is, and most of the big besides Team Sky will go there to win and show off.
It can only be good for those two races and hopefully some of the prestige of the tour will fall onto them. |

Considering it's Sky next challenge to win 3 GT's in one year.
Don't get your hopes up too much :L

He said: "Not normal. Too much superiority." He described my feelings exactly. |

Can someone please compare Froome's performance of today to Nibali's Giro? Just wondering how big the difference is.

Interesting tweet from the science of sport guys a year ago:
(Froome was over 6.5 today)
It's also Nibali's estimated power in the Tre Cime stage he won, although that was in a blizzard so will always be lower

The majority on the Wielerflits forum thnks Sky is clean. Some of their members even asking the admins to ban people who are accusing Sky.

I cant wait to see Porte win the Tour next year, and have their next "creation" be the ultimate team-mate for Porte next year. I dont know how anyone see's this as legit, especially from the way Porte rode the final climb today.

Why even bother reading Wielerflits' comment section?

All my fellow sky-haters.Hats-off too SkyTeam.I think we should give Team Sky a round of applause. They have discovered a new drug which is kill cycling all round the world.Stage Racing is no longer going to be fun any more.Only thing to look forward to is the Classics.(Unless they find a scientific way for riding Classics too.)
