Eneco ITT
1 Jesse Sergent (NZl) Team RadioShack 0:17:55
2 Alex Rasmussen (Den) HTC-Highroad 0:00:14
3 Jurgen Roelandts (Bel) Omega Pharma-Lotto 0:00:20
The last 20 riders had worst conditions on the road with rain, that's why those results, while the first starters had dry road.
General classification after stage 4
1 Edvald Boasson Hagen (Nor) Sky Procycling 13:49:06
2 Philippe Gilbert (Bel) Omega Pharma-Lotto 0:00:12
3 David Millar (GBr) Team Garmin-Cervelo 0:00:18
4 Taylor Phinney (USA) BMC Racing Team 0:00:27
5 Jos Van Emden (Ned) Rabobank Cycling Team 0:00:47
Not over yet, but EBH should win this from this position.

Boom was the fastest on the wet roads. 6 Seconds faster than Phinney. Too bad... |

I didn't watch whole stage, but Boom was 43th overall in GC before the stage, the conditions weren't as bad as the most late starters like Phinney or EBH I think.

Wout Poels won the 3rd stage of the Tour de l'Ain, ahead of Rolland and Moncoutié. He's the new overall leader. |

Boom's conditions were even worse. He rode in the rain. When the GC guys rode, the road was slowly drying up again. |

Boom should have won. EBH still has to survive sunday which isn't that easy. I hope he does though.
Pozzato sucks!

Notice Rolland was feeling bad in mid race and was 2min behind the other favorites 50kms away from the end, he managed an awesome come-back, and ended just behind Poels!
Team Europcar !!
RIP Wouter

Also Hoogerland finished 5th and took the mountain jersey. |

Pinot strikes again at the last stage of le Tour de l'Ain. From the gaps I guess he broke away with Moncoutié, and Moncoutié left him the stage (not that he's a man to win a sprint against anyone) but took the leader's jersey. |

It is always great to see breakaway win. This was very interesting stage and in one point it seemed sure that peloton would catch breakaway riders but then again they waited and let breakaway gain more gap. And Bono almost drop at one point but cathed two other riders with hard pedalling.
I think final stage will be also very interesting because time gaps are so small between top riders and for example Gilbert have to try something to win whole Eneco tour. |

Flecha got into break and is now in virtual leader jersey. Great position for Sky, as now OPL and other must chase. Though bit stupid by others letting a Sky rider go into break.

Cav was quick, also GB cunningly had Team England do the chasing in the first half of the race.

Hagen also won the last stage (with Galimzynov and Roelandts falling in first and second position) very easy as all others got blocked. 2nd was Cardoso, 3rd Boom
