Oh,no again
Someone has results and doping questions rise, but you need to realize that riders from former Czechoslovakia aren¨t Spaniards or Italians, where doping is religion
Go Roman!

Yeah, but he's a neopro. To have results like that as a neopro, I fear he may be a doper. |

Everyone may be a doper, i only say that he is extremely talented rider and in Central Europe he is already well-known as great mountain-biker and cyclo-cross rider
Go Roman!

I agree that he is a very talented rider who is probably better than many other riders even as neo pro he seems very strong.
But on the other hand I agree that this isn`t normal as a neo pro. There must be something wrong with him. |

No, he comes from the former Soviet Union controlled Slovakia (please don't call it Czechoslovakia. That country no longer exists). Where doping was institutionalised. And the same coaches who were there during the days of said doping are still there...

yeah, he must have big mix of potential, ambition, and determination to make something of himself, combined with a bit of killer instinct. something is definitely wrong with that.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

All I'm saying is that it's difficult to believe he can be so good so quickly in the pro ranks, (especially with his build on a stage like that yesterday). Anyone who disagree's isn't thinking straight.
My main point though is that I wish it wasn't so with cycling and we could all get excited about Sagan. |

Yes, the guy has almost come out of nowhere, couple of good results as a junior, but nothing that good.

there are many examples of young athletes in many many different sports who came out of nowhere with a big shout.
Pelé was the youngest goalscorer in the 1958. FIFA World cup, youngest player to score a hat-trick in the World cup, tied on 6 goals with a legend like Just Fontaine as the best goalscorer of the tournament. all that at the age of 17.
this is just the first thing that popped into my mind.

You use football as an example? Football, a team invasion game vs cycling, a mass endurance sport. Seriously, you're just making yourself appear more idiotic with every post you ever write. But hey, don't let that stop you from posting, it does provide me with occasional amusement.

Do you think i dont know about non-existence of Czechoslovakia?Look at my place of living It is long to say names of both states and lot of people here still count our states as one
The problem is that we are in cycling. If someone in other sport starts to perform well, than he is wonderkind and supertalent and in cycling he is doper immediately
Go Roman!

It's not about the sport, it's about the fact that young athletes sometimes do good when a proper challenge rises.
So I'm not an expert, who cares. I'm amused by your collective holier than thou attitude but you don't see me complaining too often.

and mostly childish. rjc made a valid backed-up point (even if he did make it in a somewhat dick-ish manner ) and you're response is that he's a pussy

Oh and by the way, I don't see how Sagan is suspicious. All he really does is winning group sprints of 25 man because he can hang on a climb and has a sprint.
Hardly worth hanging out the flag for.
Now, if he dropped everyone with apparent ease on every climb, I would be worried about how cleean he was. But this? Nah. |

Lol, you say this as if doping wasn't institutionalised too in the West. I bet my right arm that he's a doper, but the place of birth doesn't make you a doper or a clean rider depending on were you born. |
