Haha I think it funny that he will end up in Panathinaikos .. If he signs the deal ofc.. His agent is so arrogant and talks about Chelsea, Barcelona, Valencia, Real Madrid .. And in the end he'll probably end up in Panathinaikos.. See ya Laudrup.. Just learn to keep your mouth shut instead of talking all the time .. Or your agent ..
And yes it's a really big loss for Man City if Richard Dunne moves to Tottenham.. But their owner is really rich. .It wouldn't surprise me if they spent around 40-50 million £ in this transfer window.. |

Yes but Dunne has won "Fan's Player of the Year" for the past 4 years in a row. So the fans won't and definately aren't happy with this
No-one can replace Dunne for the fans.

Well not in the mind of the fans .. But if you get a world-class defender it will certainly help to ease the mind of the supporters..
But it isn't confirmed officially yet is it ? |

I read the thing about Laudrup, and well .. I'm a little disappointed. Panathinaikos? I barely know any other teams in the Greek league than Pana. Okay, they get to play Champion's League, but that's it. No one pays attention to Greek football, so if Laudrup wants to become manager at a top club, isn't Greek football the wrong way to go? |

I really hope Laudrup stays in Spain. Greece and Turkey is definitely not countries for Laudrups temperament. |

Well it is but if he does alright in Champions League the big clubs will be interested in him.. And then ofc he has his reputation .. He is really big in spain .. More than we danes realize.. I'm sure he'll end up in Barcelona or Real Madrid at some point in his career .. But it's way too early now ..
The best club in greece is Olympiakos .. They did it really well in this years Champions League You should have heard about them |

I see the greek league as a league with a lot of troubles on the grandstand and internal problems out of the pitch. I think Laudrup is a little bit on a sidetrack. The optimal for him will be espanyol, unfortunately Márquez López is in front of the line |

There are some troubles in the greece league.. No doubt about it.. As it is now Laudrup is without a job.. There aren't that many jobs left so in a way he's left with no choice .. Or coach Panathinaikos who'll play Champions League or be without a job.. he should have stayed with Getafe for another year.
Edit: Laudrup has signed the deal with Panathinaikos .. It was just on danish TV

Well it's not "official" but Richard Dunne himself has said that he will leave because of Shinawatra's decision to sack Eriksson. He said earlier that he wants to join Tottenham as well.

Okay then a move isn't that far away .. It's probably only some minor details that has to be solved before he signs the deal ..
Shinawatra is just an old rich man who has no knowledge about football .. He wanna win PL with Man City.. that's just completely unrealistic as it is right now.. Eriksson did it well in City.. |

All City needed was a new striker. If they'd have kept the same team, and just added a new striker, they'd have been a lot higher

It's true. Benjani is awful; Mpenza, I actually quite like, but he's still awful; Samaras is very bad; Corradi is awful and don't even get me started on Vassell
Unfortunately it now seems that City will be bringing in a lot more players than just a new striker. It looks like Johnson is going to either Liverpool or Everton; Dunne is going to Spurs; Mpenza will probably go to Bolton; Schmeichel is going to Coventry; Isaksson is going somewhere; Joe Hart has yet to sign a new contract...The list goes on.

Well I understand that the players want out of that club .. Shinawatra is awful ..
He's got to have more faith in his manager and players.. Just because they have a bad period it doesn't mean that the players aren't good enough .. He's just way too impatient! |

i think is good for Laudrup to get to Pana. It's definately a step up and if he does well, he got experience enough to coach a really big club. The problem could be the temper in Greece, but on the other side then Faxe will go tell them to shut up. |

2.5 million euros plus Diogo Viana (the star of the under-18 national team) plus if sporting ever sells postiga, half the money goes to Porto.
I've been laughing about it all afternoon. we got rid of that underperforming jerk and got a great deal for him.
now to get rid of Quaresma... |

Hopefully no-one has forgotten that it's England vs. Trinidad & Tobago tonight It kicks off in about 3/4 of an hour and I wouldn't be suprised if England lost, we're resting all our Champions League players. There's no point in this friendly at all apart from to see what our depth is like.
