Nah, seriously : less doping, makes a level playing field, most leaders are at the edge of what can be done clean, and almost all of them have the same level, or close to. Add to that that they don't look at each other but climb almost as fast as they can, and that leaves almost no room for accelerations, sci-fi style attacks, etc.
Also, less of them have bad days due to a bad timing for transfusion or a poor assimilation of the extra red cells (or a bad day due to the absence of a refill the day before).
No problem I can still follow and enjoy cycling.
Maybe reason is Zoncolan himself..No one even doped riders did not just ride away from Zoncolan. When Kiserlowski attacked first..that was so biggest suicide move you can do.
You just wont attack at Zoncolan it just to damn hard.
Boring because no one even did not try anything..(except Uran). |
