I think it is safe to tell you all my prepared statement if we had drawn the game and gone out of the tournament.

Various England fans will now go out and get (more) drunk in celebration.

Dam, it sucks that USA made it at the last minute. If they were any good they wouldn't celebrate a scrappy win against an out of form team in the group stage like they had just won the world cup...... unlucky Slovenia

No, of course, you don't have to celebrate the goal that qualifies you to round of 16, making you first of your group, and having had something like 7 enormous chances to score, and having been stolen on the last match, and...

every team in the World Cup is celebrating wins like it's the final match so far, let alone such a dramatic win. Also, Algeria isn't out of form. Scrappy is what the USA are. They're not as skilled as other teams especially in the final third, in the box, if they had a good scoring striker like 75% of the teams have they'd win much more comfortably generally.
