Ion putting in another strong effort. Hopefully the yellow will give him wings on the final stage - it will be exciting to see if de las Campos is held back to support Ion instead of doing something for himself on the climb...

Pinot well poised heading into the final stage for FDJ. Hopefully he can take the good PN form and deliver a good result.
Also hoping for Hinault to show some talent on the climb to deliver a strong result for his team AG2R

At this point I have to ask, can San Luis and Oman finish soon? If not, please let me know and we'll find a solution. We're rapidly approaching the end of the season, so I really need those races done.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Spoiler Race is split into 3 parts again.
THE RACE
Part 1
200km to go
Welcome at the start of this year's Dwars Door Vlaanderen! The weather is nice, with no rain expected today. A lot of spectators along the route, cheering for their favourite rider. But only 1 from the 144 riders can win!
197km to go
We are just underway, and the first two attackers are already here! Kovalev ( RUS) and Aregger ( IAM).
187km to go
They were joined by 7 others, but the peleton didn't allow the to go!
179km to go
A new break of 7 riders attacked shortly after the catch, and has a 1 and a half minute gap now. It seems like the peleton has allowed them to go.
166km to go
3 more riders joined, to make a break of 10. The names: Chaoufi ( EUS), Brutt ( KAT), Schmidt, Poux (both SOJ), Quemeneur ( EUC), Nowak ( CCC), Koretzky ( BSE), Miletta ( VIN) and the 2 early attackers, Kovalev and Aregger.
145km to go
The gap is up to 3 and a half minute. The peleton is led by Saxo Bank and BMC.
113km to go
The break has reached the first notable hill of today, the Nieuwe Kwaremont. The gap is exactly 5 minutes.
104km to go
Wow, Andrews ( GRS) attacks very early. He's followed by Gaudin ( EUC) and Boom ( BEL).
94km to go
The first cobbled section of today, the Kattenberg. The 3 attackers are 1 minute and 30 seconds behind the break. The peleton is 5 minutes behind the 10 leaders.
84km to go
Time for the Leberg, and the 3 have joined the break. The peleton has realised that they might be very dangerous, the gap is down to 4 and a half minutes.
End of part 1

Happy with having a guy in the break so far (and even close to the front on the cobbles)

THE RACE
Part 2
79km to go
Steep hill ahead! The Berendries (average 8,3%) is narrow, but luckily not cobbled. The gap is constant, around 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
76km to go
Crash from Maarten Wynants ( BEL). The gap with the break is up to 5 minutes again.
74km to go
Valkenberg! The gap is increasing again, this time to 5 minutes and 30 seconds! Also, the number of riders that can't follow the pace of the peleton is increasing! The peleton only counts 47 names now, but most favourites are there.
62km to go
The break has reached the Eikenberg with a 5-minute lead. Omega Pharma has joined Saxo Bank and BMC in the chase.
57km to go
We have arrived at the Steenbeekdries, and the break has broken down into multiple group. The 4 leaders are Gaudin, Andrews, Boom and Poux. 30 seconds behind them are 7 members of the former break, without Schmidt and Aregger (puncture). The favourites group has been reduced to 39 riders, but still has a 4 minutes gap to conquer.
43km to go
Poux suprisingly manages to hold on to the other 3, even at the Knokteberg. 1 minute and 20 seconds behind them is the former break. 1 minute behind them are Schmidt and Aregger, who are still 1 minute and 30 seconds ahead of the favourites group.
37km to go
But the young Frenchman can't hold on at the Oude Kwaremont. Meanwhile, it has started to rain. Schimdt and Aregger have been caught.
32km to go
The front 3 have reached the Paterberg, and Boom has a puncture! Poux is 1 minute down. The first favourite group of 20 riders is 3 minutes behind the front 3, but can they catch them? Favourites not there are Phinney ( BMC) and Vandenbergh ( OPQ).
26km to go
We have managed to get a shot with all 4 main groups now. The 2 leaders are in the upper part of the screen. Boom is on the right, 1 minute behind them. Poux is caught by a group of 16 riders. McDermott and Verboven have been dropped.

THE RACE
Part 3
20km to go
20 kilometers to go for the 2 leaders, Andrews and Gaudin. Boom is still 1 minute behind, but the group of favourites is also approaching.
17km to go
A picture from the top of the Holstraat. Only 1 hill left now, the notable Nokereberg, site of the chaotic sprint in Nokere Koerse.
14km to go
Attack from the favourites group. It's Sep Vanmarcke ( BEL)! He will be followed by Chavanel ( OPQ), Khamse Khamphan ( EUC) and Van Avermaet ( BMC). Boom was caught in no time.
9000m to go
Andrews and Gaudin are still 30 second ahead of the favourites group. The attackers have bee brought back!
8000m to go
And the Nokereberg has been passed, without Belkin and Sky blocking the road this time. From now on, it's a flat to the finish.
6000m to go
New race-update! Van Avermaet, Vanmarcke and Chavanel are attacking!
5000m to go
Van Avermaet has joined the leaders!
2500m to go
But here comes Tom Boonen ( OPQ). He flies past them and goes solo!
1000m to go
1 kilometer to go for the Belgian! Can he hold on? The others have started their sprint, with Greipel ( LTB) being the best man on paper there.
0m to go
The Belgian champion can hold on! Tom Boonen wins Dwars door Vlaanderen!
The trio was caught meters before the line. Hushovd ( BMC) takes second place, ahead of Andrews, Gaudin and Van Avermaet. Khamse Khamphan finishes 6th and Greipel finishes 7th. Gatto ( VIN) takes eight, Stybar ( OPQ) ninth and Vanmarcke completes the top-10.
