Still, I think we didn't reach the final by our own fault, don't think Moutinho would be the best player to take the first penalty. Then again, I don't know who could. And of course, the luck factor wasn't on our side.
And if you want to do something with the ref, invite him to Colombo. That's were refs aren't safe. |

Two passive teams + a referee who can't manage to keep himself away from the whistle for more than 30 seconds = a borefest of a match
Portugal had the right attitude and played the game they had to play with aplomb, but as the match went on Spain's supremacy became evident. We had to score one of the few chances we created. Without that we had to accept the lottery of the penalty shootout.
And for those who said Portugal wasn't lucky, well I just have to say I've never seen Portugal lose a penalty shootout. Furthermore I believe Spain was much well prepared for this outcome than we were, so it's only logic.

Very boring match indeed, mainly Spain unwatchable as always, someone please tell them you have to shoot to get the goal in game of football!!! 
Now i hope for Germany to beat Italy (it will be tough but they are still favourites for me) and than crush these middle of the pitch passers.
Mr. referee was abyssmal to be honest...

What football fan does not like to see their team dominate? But keep in mind that there are always opponents with their motivations and their abilities. That's why I always felt strange to make predictions absolutist and give up for lost Portugal. And yesterday we saw! Spain is like Barcelona. If it is not backed by a physical condition, then the continuous little passes "TITI-TAKA STYLE" midfielders become boring and annoying and serve no purpose. This is the risk of this tactic, and the Chelsea teaches! From Italian I hope that tonight Germany goes on pitch with a hint of arrogance, a bit like Spain last night. After all the German players are young and young people, you know, are brash and disrespectful of all danger. It 's the only key to beating them, because we're a little down physically. For the final .... 60% see it on TV  |

That was terrible referee..every foul was also yellow card.
I never had seen Ronaldo playing like a man as yesterday. he was hit..and kicked so many times. Look at he's shirt. It was so dirty. And it was not diving dirt.He was almost always fast up..and no complaining..look he's yellow card. Was it diving..?
No..this was man to man fight..only question was. Who will get a ball..corner..or goal kick. No way it was diving and yellow.
but thank god he did not decided a game winner

fact that Spain is in final..has taken already 37% fun away from it.
This all remind me times when I followed football. Rule that tournament group phase is fun part. Every round after that will be more and more booring.

At one point that match looked like a diving contest from both sides. It must have been really excruciating for all non iberian viewers.
But I have to agree with Guido. Sure Ronaldo dived every once in a while, but yesterday he was playing like a champ. He even lost a couple of dangerous plays where he could have asked for the free-kick, instead of going after the ball.
On the other hand Busquets is a truly disgusting player. I think Spain should take in to the olympics, that guy has a natural talent for the swimming pool.

Heh,you still bring the hate from his ManU times i think, when he was clearly diving very often. Nowadays and yesterday especially he was brought down many times by foul and i cant remember a single time when it could be called diving.
Together with Coentrao he was maybe the only one who had intensions to play rather than lying on the pitch. Maybve you dont like him, maybe he looks like faggot, but he is the best.
