Well, Phinney is kicking Dutch ass over at the Olympia's Tour, so he can't say anything about the Americans. |

Last time I checked, the Dutch were 1000x more into cycling per capita than the US so really, not that big of a jump.
And come on Ruben, don't try and pretend you don't knock America as a cycling country as often as you grovel at the feet of whatever Dutchman just won something. |

Not really, in professional cycling, there aren't that much dutch cyclists and certainly not more than Americans, certainly not in absolute numbers.
Cycling isn't the first, second or third sport here either friend just because we have a tradition, doesnt mean we have more cyclists. It's a simple fact. So cmon Deadpool, stop your blabbermouth.
I have nothing against Americans, except when they turn into arrogant assholes who try to shit on everyone, like you now.
I'm also not one of the america-haters you seem to confuse me with.

not to defend Deadpool but in the US cycling would be somewhere around 20th on sports. Maybe lower.

But considering you have 500x more inhabitans, you'll still have more cyclists and talents in absolute numbers. |

Is is coincidence? De Maar leaves Rabobank and immediately turns into a better rider.

Paul Shewen just did his "why do riders go into the breakaway" spiel, which he does once every flat stage.
Please kill me. |

Paul Sherwen the former sprinter.
Why am I not surprised?

Powers has been caught, but the break might be able to pull this off with the side winds. If they do, Boom is hands down the strongest rider, so Ruben might be having a big night. That said, HTC, Radioshack, and Garmin are all pushing the pace. They want this back together. |

Crash for Lance, but within 3 kms.
Rabobank is attacking non-stop, but I expect Martens will be caught in a sec and we'll see a sprint.
Fantastic end to the race BTW, best of the race so far hands down.

1. Chicchi
2. Haedo
3. Cav
Perfect lead-out for Cav, but he followed Haedo too early and Chicchi came around late. |

Chicchi wins. Good night, I'm off to bed.
What are you watching? Chicchi was in Haedo's slipstream until the last 50 meters.

Haedo, Cavendish and Chicchi all jump at once and it's a straight drag to the line. I think that's the first time I've ever seen a sprint where 3 sprinters go head to head with an equally good starting position with leadouts giving no advantage/disadvantage
Chicchi wins. Good night, I'm off to bed.
1. Chicchi
2. Haedo
3. Cavendish
4. Bos
5. Cantwell
6. Kristoff
7. Hanson
8. Stauff

I got the distinct idea he was off to the side.
And now I saw the replay and confirmed that. He was off to the side. He just didn't go 100% until later. Let them get a lead, then jumped later and took it.
EDIT: Haedo can't buy a win, can he?

I thought I saw Cavendish in Haedo's slipstream and fail to come round!
And I'm also fairly sure I saw 4 bikes with 3 riders in the Lance crash!?!?
