Meyer will eventually come across the line in fifth place

But gets caught on the climb up to the finish

Davide Cimolai came out of the peleton to take third place at the intermediate sprint at Lockwood South

With 300m to the line Cimolai is looking good

But in a close finish he has to settle for 2nd place

Due to the disappointing outcome of the season with the Team finishing bottom of the CT Ranking, it was decided that there wouldn't be a Presentation Night as normal, instead the Winners of the Awards would be voted for via a select group of people and awarded in the same way.
So Chris Boardman, Dean Downing, Stephen Roche, Malcolm Elliott and David Millar on behalf of the cycling world and Alex Laffey (Chief Executive Officer) and David Pickering (Chief Operating Officer) on the behalf of Eddie Stobart Haulage would decide the outcome of the awards
