Bauer is in fact a great talent. He actually won a stage in Tour of Southland lately |

I noticed somthing looking at the results for a local race where Justin Williams finished 4th. William's(Rock Racing) was 2008's u23 Crit Champ, and a very strong sprinter. I think he may have joined Trek-Livestrong.

Lasse Bochman says he can quit his contract at any time if a ProTour team makes an offer. He says he's in contact with Garmin.
He'd better pray Garmin don't find out he's not a bad climber. If they find out a rider can do more than time trial, they're sure to lose interest

Apparantly he has language problems which is one of the problems things didn't work out well at Saxo Bank, and at Glud & Marstrand he was promised english lessons by the manager (former teacher), could be a good year for him to return to Denmark and get better at english and then get a contract with a pro-conti or a PT team next year, if he rides well ofcourse.

Astana has once again tried to offer Contador a contract renewal. Compared to previous offers, the value has been doubled - they're now offering him a yearly wage of 8 million €.
He's denied. Again. |

Contador was never going to agree to a four year deal with Astana

According to what I've read he wants 4.5m per year; a written agreement that vino wont ride tdf and a clause which enables him to leave astana if there is a doping incident. |

Contador's manager says that the decision about the 2010 team will be made one of the upcoming days. |

Simoni's still out of contract for the 2010 season. He's been in negotiations with Lampre and Astana, but he hasn't been able to reach a deal.
Apparently, he wants to end his career after the 2010 season. |

Not even that, he wants to end it after the Giro, which is apparently why the Astana negotiations broke down. |

Argh, that was what I meant to say. Instead of "season", I wanted to say "Giro". |

According to Cyclingnews, Contentpolis will sign Michael Rasmussen when/if they manage to find the needed money to finance the team in 2010.

According to not very trustable sources, Katusha has bought Kolobnev from Saxo Bank (he had a contract including the 2010 season).
As said, I don't quite believe it, but if any team would accept a nice cash offer, it'd be Saxo Bank. |
