That's usually what happens...people start hating certain riders because they're hyped up beyond belief
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

Am I the only one that has found his recent development a little, uh quick?

uhh, no
He won a bunch of tour of britain stages last year (ok, not hard, but it's the way he did it. Similar to today, but will less skilled riders chasing him down etc.) |

Not at all, I really didn't expect him to do so well in his 1st GT, especially in the mountains
Maybe there's a reason his team-mates are nicknaming him "Eddy Merckx the 2nd" ...
But to be realistic I think he will start to lose a lot of time in the mountains when we get to the later stages. Don't be surprised if he gets another stage win though. |

As I have said before, I think you guys are to quick to write off Edvald in the mountains. If he sheds a few kilos, i tell you he would probably do much better. Again I was suprised how well he climbed in stage 4 and 5.

You ever thought that maybe Hagen is happy with being a classics man? Like he said in an inteview with Cycle Sport magazine. Stop wishing that he'll turn into a rider you want him to be. This is real life, not PCM. He'll ride as well as he can, where he can. Just admire him for what he has so far done, not what he might one day turn into.

Seriously? Do you comprehend anything anyone else says?

That's the point He doesn't know what type of rider he wants to be, or what he could become.
All I am saying is, it's exiting to think of the options with such an amazing talent. |

Well I thought you were implying that...
Kinda unfair to say that tough, as there's no reason to believe he is, other than him doing well.
