You haven't installed the last patch.
When the game starts, let him download the lastest patch (if you have an internet connection) and then install.
The problem will be solved after that .

Starting a new pro-conti career. Haven't decided on a team yet, but what I'm doing now is add the most important free riders to conti teams so they can develop and transfer to bigger teams. Don't know if this is common practice, but I thought it was a good idea.
Ewan rides for Drapac, Mohoric for Adria etc..
Very fun to do, actually. |

I did something similar myself when I recreated HTC as a 20th WT team, I took Ewan and Herklotz to be my future Sprinter and Puncheur, the Yates brothers went to NetApp, Mohoric to Cannondale, The 2 Eritrean's from the Under23 WC went to MTN and Meintjes got a Potential boost to compensate them loosing Cioleck back to OPQS which partly compensated them losing about 6 riders to me.
most moves were either based on where riders transferred to for 2014, where they would have stayed if the HTC riders weren't aquired or the youngsters to a team from the same country if not covered by a previous point.

An update on my OGE career
In Catalunya, Kruopis delivered me a stage win, the only stage win there. Few more top-10s as well, for Meier and Durbridge.
Langeveld came 4th in E3, 3rd in Gent-Wevelgem, 4th in De Ronde. He disappointed in Paris-Roubaix with 17th though.
Pais Vasco was disappointing with only 1 stage top-10 (Impey) and 19th in the GC (Gerrans).
Ardennes went very well for the team. Gerrans came 3rd in the Gold Race with Weening 8th, 7th in La Flèche and 5th in LBL. Romandie was disappointing as expected, with only 1 stage win for Goss.
The Giro was brilliant though! Langeveld won stage 1 and took pink, came 2nd on stage 3 and with 2 more top-5s he also won the KoM classification. Goss also had some podiums, but also won stage 7. Purito won it ahead of Nibali and Mollema.
In the Dauphiné Weening won stage 1. Offredo won stage 2, but Clarke took over yellow, which he defended until the ITT. After that, nothing notable. In Switzerland Albasini achieved 2 podiums and Meyer came 19th in the GC.
NCs: We won the Netherlands with Weening and Canada with Meier. On the way Weening also won Slovenia. Pretty succesful so far. The Tour is now about to start, with Gerrans, Weening, C. Meyer, Vaitkus, Impey, Matthews, Clarke, Tuft and Keukeleire. Goal is a stage win.

Hmm, your career seems to be going really well
Also, I've started my Petronas(it got Petronas) career with only Malaysian, Chinese & Japanese riders(for now).
I got an amazing talent, will tell you guys about him later.

Edit:
Dyn_team: name to Giant-Shimano
Dyn_sponsor: Change Argos-Shimano to Giant Shimano, and change the abbreviation to 14gia/gia.
Rename the stuff you want to use(jerseys etc.) to 14gia/gia_maillot and such, and put it in a new map in 3D/Cyclist/Cloth/Team, called gia or 14gia.
And then you're done

You have to make a new map/folder in the 3D/Cyclist/Cloth/Team folder, called 14gia or gia(depending how you named the shirts and what you've filled in in the DB).

Behold,
Petronas Cycling Team
Goals:
- Keeping the team 100% Asian at least until PCT, and only Asian+Oceanian until WT.
- Riding in PCT in 2016. If possible, 2015.
- Scouting the biggest Asian talents and training them to the top.
The leader of the team is an awesome Chinese regen I found at the start. The other guys having more than 60 KAS(= COB) are also regens
Meiyin Wang has got loads of talents really. He's not a regen, but a nice real-life talent(Age 25 though) as well, that's why I picked him as mountain leader.
Chang hasn't got as much talent as I hoped, but A.Hassan has. And a lot!
He's going to be 77 COB or so I think.
A Malaysian cobbler, how awesome is that?
I must admit that I had a couple of re-starts to the create-a-team screen, so that Malaysia & China(those two will be the main focus in this career) had at least some talent at the start.
Anyway, FCD has an amazing Asian calendar, so I'm going to play some races I've never played
Hoping for promotion, but should've planned some more .1 & .HC races then, I'm now mainly riding .2, with some exceptions ofc.

Yeah, an Asian cobbler, you should have experience with that.
And a very nice team, and the FCD sounds more and more interesting. Might give it a go in a few weeks time, but how up-to-date are the stats in the '12 one? I assume no transfers have been done at all?

Thanks
I'm not sure how up-to-date the PCM 12 stats are.
If there was an update, it should be somewhere at Pcmfrance.

Here's a 183 page thread about the PCM 12 DB, have fun
V1.2 is the last one out, it seems. I think it was released a month or 1,5 months before the Tour.
You can always do the most important stats(Quintana higher, Horner higher, Contador lower, Kelderman higher etc.) yourself. But it got 2013 rosters, not 2014.
I have FCD at a double-install which is definitely recommended. And as a bonus, the DB Comics(which also was made for PCM 12) is compatible with the FCD

So.
I was doing a Burgos career when I saw that there's actually a 2014-ish update for the FCD.
Could you please tell me where to find that?

Here.
CT's not updated though, afaik.
Though I believe they did something there, but didn't add riders and such.

Thanks for the thread, i'll download it as soon as school slows down enough for a proper career.

Rexona Cycling Team
Loads of recognizable names in there
The Three Hammarlings brought together for the first time is going to be fun.
Lasnik and Van Achteren from Roule Britannia
Livshits, Veldhuizen and Wiles from various things
Malev and Fuchs (reset to 20yo) from past great careers
Nicol and Weiland are new to you all, but i've had them kicking around things for a couple of months.
So obviously all U23, but i turned down the talent levels a bit. All 12 can go on to WT level, but only 4-5 will be leaders at that level. Top picks: Wiles (85MO 80HL) Lasnik (83HL 79CB) Karl (77HL 77CB) and Fuchs (85TT 82HL)
Target 2013 = Promotion to PCT (always really easy to do by just smashing various .2 races and then a solid ToB)
Target 2014-2015 = Build and maintain PCT. Scouting in top UK talent each season and top U23 rider
Target 2016 = Promotion to WT
I've also got various individual goals written up for each rider as an added things to keep me going. Gonna be fun!

Seems like an interesting team and set of goals.
Depending on their development, I can see the team promoting by 2016 |
