Well, if Contador gets away of that dopping case. the team will be strong. Without?
Well they got many very good riders that can perform in the Vuelta and Giro. Navarro, Inglsiky(i know it was spelld wrong)
Juan Hose Haedo and Breschel will perform.
And Cancellara,Porte,Larsson as always with the time trail.
But with Contador there are one of the best, without not the best because Riis was a little risky and went for one man.
And bought all his team mates from Astana
Im on the edge... of glory

Anyone knows whats happening to Astana at the moment?
Could you explain why you think Saxobank will be strong next year? Which riders do you expect to shine for them?
Contador. |

Breschel is at Rabobank. Cancellara is not going to be back with the team either. |

Contador.
Well, yeah. I don't think he'll be able to ride though. I suppose this case has got to either result in a ban, or seriously damage his preparation/training routine ahead of next season. |

First of all I think Katusha will be the deepest team. Look at them. They've got multiple riders for every discipline.
2nd of all if Conta leaves it can only get more exciting. Less predictable GT's. Its like the Tennis issue 5 years back when Federer was dominating everything. Or like how the Detroit Red Wings always make the playoffs.

Less predictable? Andy Schleck will win easy. |

Yes because riders like Menchov and Sammy Sanchez weren't that far behind him every stage, and not to mention a quarter of the best GC riders weren't even at the Tour.
It won't be easy and Schleck wont win. Thats why it will be unpredictable.

Did you actually watch this years Tour de France? Contador and Schleck was waaay better than everybody else. They/He will be better with the same margin next year. |

So who nearly caught Andy Schleck in the final TT again?
Are you sure he won't get liquored up on the 15th stage and get sent home?
But seriously, you all seem to underestimate Denis Menchov and others.
It will be close and Andy is the new Evans, so 2nd he will be.

But ultimately its hard to compare Andy and Menchov at this years Tour. They were in a different race, basically. Andy v Contador for the win. Then Menchov being the 'best of the rest'
A couple of occasions where Schleck actually lost time to Menchov:
14 seconds lost when he and Contador did those 'track stands', only focusing on each other
39 seconds lost when Schleck dropped his chain - trying to attack Contador
If you remove Contador from the equation, the situations would have been completely different. And even as it was, Schleck still finished 1'22 ahead of Menchov

Yeah I lost. But if Conta doesn't race next year, I don't think it will be a blowout/easy win, like some are saying for Andy.

Judging by the Tour's past history, similar occasions where everyone was convinced a certain rider would win easily are extremely common.......and it rarely ends up being the case.

Schleck also lost about two and a half minutes in the TT to Menchov. So it really depends on the amount of TT-ing I'd say. |

I think if Andy had his brother Frank alonside him it would have been a different Tour altogether! |

This is true. With Fränk in the race, Andy would need to wait for him in a lot of stages, thus gaining less time on Menchov. Then, if Contador is banned (unlikely, imo), I expect the ASO pricks to bring the first long ITT back. Under such circumstances, the Tour is open. |
