So, for anyone whose interested, after crunching the numbers 4 guys will definitely need a PT loan to max, although I already knew that, though I might get away with wildcards to max them but I'd probably need too much luck if I was to try that method
Then I've got 3 guys that could max in the PCT but not in the CT, so depending on whether I promote or not they could need to be loaned out or might stay.
And I've got 3 guys I could gain an XP level for if I promote or not and the other guy from that table is now maxed but I was wondering how many race days he'd get.
Now back to the racing as we push for the CT top 10, and attempt to prove that I wasn't crazy for turning down the opportunity to promote last year, even if we are likely to come back down again anyway at least I've timed it to benefit my existing talents.

Will the Management-Game ever be played in PCM 2014?
because it will have more reporters, probably. |

At the moment PCM13 is used.
Next year PCM 14 indeed.
But usually we use the most recent game. So in 2-3 seasons we most likely move on to PCM15-16 and so on. |

My next thought for discussion focuses around the status of the Tour of America. I love the GT's in the MG, and was really keen to include this on our race calendar, but like many (assuming form the small start list), the race day commitment in terms of points potential vs. e.g. racing 10 1 day C1 races was just too much to swallow. The question then is what (minor) things can we do to increase the prestige of the CT GT to ensure solid attendance on a regular basis without unbalancing the calendar, or creating a solution where all PCT and CT teams want to sign up. I have some thoughts:
1) Think this was mentioned by someone else during last years off-season, but I think the idea has potential; as it is a GT, adopt the stat-gains as for the other 21 day GTs. This would then enable PCT and CT teams to (slowly over a few seasons) develop lvl 4.0 riders - this might be enough incentive to encourage more interest.
2) Another obvious choice could also be to improve the point-scoring value of the race (although not ridiculously). E.g. make equivalent to point scoring for a PT stage race? My one concern would be that this might have quite an impact in the CT (as opposed to PCT) if a CT team had major success. Maybe the gamble deserves rewarding?
3) partially reduce the number of race days cost of participation.
Of these three options, personal preference is in the order presented (combinations are also obviously possible). Anyone any other ideas or thoughts - class discussion now open .
Oh, and in the context of the parcours, When the calendar is released for next season, I will be very interested to see if TSMoha's beautiful route recently presented elsewhere on the forum will be the choice, as looks and at the same time!

Don't really like the maxing out option. IMO it just makes it a development race for some teams, which doesn't add anything to it, IMO. Option two could possibly make it unbelievably unfair on the CT teams that can't get a spot, as even medium succes will give great points. I'm all for reducing the rd cost though, since that is the main reason people don't bother.

The Tour of America does not need changing. It is not meant to be the most prestigious race on the PCT/CT calendar, those are the HC races. Last season it was full of teams anyway. Nothing changed this year, and it had a smaller field. That's the way it goes.
The fact that it was a small field this year, and the calendar itself will be smaller next year, are both likely to contribute to a larger field for the race next year.
Reducing race day participation cost is the only thing that will be considered.
Obviously tsmoha's route will be used I already had a small chat with him about the route before it was made.

But that is a ridiculous idea!

To be honest I don't see what the problem is, yeah it might not be as prestigious as the actual GT's and it might not attract the best of the best but actually it's a unique race and the risk/reward for going is unlike any other race on the calender due to it's length and the kind of field it generally attracts.
Personally I think it's because of those reasons that it stands out on the calender and I'd like to see it remain that way as I think the more variety we have on the calender the better the Man Game will be as it's a unique choice during planning and if I had a team that was remotely focussed on the American region it would be the first race on my calender because of those reasons, as it stands my focus is the Asian races but it still would be my first choice if I have enough race days remaining because of how different an experience it is to race there.

OK, I'm obviously in a minority here being concerned about this, so I'll move along (to the next crazy idea! ). Good to understand that is the case.

I already answered just a few posts back on the same question by you.
To the other question: Not sure when applications start. Neither do we know when the season exactly ends or starts. |

One thing to note for all Manager is that Helmets are selected randomly in PCM14 so there is no way of assigning these to teams, so custom helmets cannot be used this year. Frames it seems can be selected though. |

So still in team colours? |

Yeah that's how I understand it this is what deksel has had to say
"I'm not 100% sure, because I don't play that often anymore, but from what I understood are helmets picked randomly and auto-colour is used as customization. Maybe someone already found a solution to this limitation."
So as I understand it you can't pick the Company of the helmet but can change the Colour of the helmet. |

Nobody knows that. And if SN does, he will not tell you anyway.
If you accept friendly advices, here is one from me: dont ask again and again, just wait as others do.

Best tip for those interested is to not be annoying over the next few weeks
if the applications starts. please give me a sign, thanks in advance
SN's post from a week ago, or something.
And as you said yourself, you should just wait for a "sign" rather than ignoring SN's "best tip" there..
