you know what I mean: winning sprints and achiving a top10 or top5 which are your specialities
but with Rogers there you can do better than you think
anyway you're much more successful than I so you dont need that much of luck

Cyanide thankfully gets a lot of inspiration from past Grand Tours for race routes.
That's the route of the 1993 Tour's queen stage, except it's the Agnello instead of the Izoard
Rominger hammered the pack on that stage, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't drop Induráin, although he made Induráin suffer like a dog. Still, even though he couldn't drop Induráin, the rest of the peloton was being thrashed day after day by Rominger.
Anyway, history lesson over. Back to the story

Let's hope it was bad form that made Cavendish get decent results. Which race is the next?
Congratulations with the win! |

and from what I saw the last sprinter should have a very good acceleration so he can took over his team-mates quickly and then sprint for the victory |

yep. I think that if Cav had less acceleration he couldn't win today. And of course stamina, resistence or flat count a lot too. |

Tour de Langkawi Stage 3
We are there as always
Just that in a corner Ignatiev loses some speed and we are a little bit behind
So Cavendish decides to leave Ciolek's wheel and to follow Hunter
Bad idea! An Barloworld rider is leading the sprint but it's not Hunter, it's Sabido
And another reason is that Ignatiev was finally faster than Hunter so Ciolek is now our hope for victory
They caught Sabido. Ciolek and Ignatiev are in good positions but Paolini is the fastest
And he takes the win. 2nd and 3rd for Columbia but at least we kept the leader jersey.
An another good news is that because of the dangerous corners in the last kilometres of the race the pack was split into 2 groups and a lot of big names were caught in the second group for now we know that Luis Leon Sanchez, the new AG2R rider and the big favourite, and Zanotti, the green jersey, lost time. While our leaders were in the first group, of course we are talking about Ignatiev, 3rd in the stage, and Michael Roger, that now become the big favourite to win in Malaisya. The second group lost 1 minute and 10 seconds
Stage
1. Luca Paolini Acqua e Sapone - Caffè Mokambo 4h45'04
2. Gerald Ciolek Team Columbia s.t.
3. Mikhail Ignatiev Team Columbia s.t.
4. Steve Schets Topsport Vlaanderen s.t.
5. Hugo Sabido Barloworld s.t.
6. Juan Van Heerden Team Columbia s.t.
7. Robert Hunter Barloworld s.t.
8. Mark Cavendish Team Columbia s.t.
9. Jochen Summer ELK Haus - Simplon s.t.
10. Kurt Hovelynck Topsport Vlaanderen s.t.
Overall
1. Gerald Ciolek Team Columbia 12h15'29
2. Mikhail Ignatiev Team Columbia s.t.
3. Luca Paolini Acqua e Sapone - Caffè Mokambo s.t.
4. Mark Cavendish Team Columbia s.t.
5. Robert Hunter Barloworld + 8

Wow, narrow roads! Great by Ciolek
Now a question:
How do you manage to keep your motivation that good ? I mean, I managed to do two months, you've done more than a season!? |
