Maxime Monfort got himself up to the favourites again.
Looking at the race numbers, I think it was Amael Moinard in there with David Moncoutie of Cofidis. Not Monfort.
Hmm, I don't know all of the numbers in my head so might be Moinard and Moncoutie.
I keep a tab open with the startlist on cyclingnews, its quite useful.

According to the reporter, the talk between Riis and Frank yesterday on the Bonette involved Riis saying "If you want yellow you've got to attack NOW and if you want to win the Tour, trust me, it's gonna hurt like hell" and Frank replying negatively.
apparently, Riis' later comment to the press was that Frank is too young and "too sensitive" to realize what it takes to win
either way, Riis was definitely not happy yesterday

schleck must know that its not possible for him to take the time he requires to win the tour in these 2 stages then |

I think that Andy Schleck is much more of a winner kind of guy (don't kill me, Ruben)than Frank Schleck is. He's too "nice", too "sensitive" as Riis said.
Nevertheless, it's too late now. It's between Evans and Menchov for sure, with Evans being the most obvious winner. |

if schleck does attack its going to be strange to see the yellow jersey attacking and nor defending. |

CSC can't win the tour this year they can't take that much time on Alpe D'Huez to either Evans or Menchov, unless they have to ride really fast and in attacks and if they don't Evans just sid on there wheels l the way to the top.

it's just another climb.
Menchov has a chance at the Tour if Evans is as fragile as he seems. everyone else is playing the lottery.

My humble prediction? Andy Schleck takes the stage. He attacks and nobody gives a damn so off he goes.
