As there is not Romandie thread yet, i wonder here, how can Kwiatek race like three months in full form? He rides almost non-stop from 10th of February and still gaing great results on the way, that guy has some big engine.
Well, thats what Sagan did both 2012 and 2013, right? =) |

He's there just as support for Uran.
Die hard fan of Tom Boonen and Quickstep since 2004.

His early seasons were a bit shorter, as he ended them at Amstel or FW in 2012 and 2013, to take a month break before California and next break till Suisse, so that is a bit shorter (Kwiatek has max five days without race during three months), but yeah, both seem to posses great form maintenance.

Ok, i was not aware of that and it would not surprise me if Kwiatek ends up higher than Uran. Hopefully he will take longer break after that, or he will be dead for the rest of the season (something that happened to Sagan due to long first parts of the season).

Cobo forgot his medicines this morning Taaramae and Yates together for a while, but a mighty acceleration from Taaramae decided it. Bit sad for Yates, so close to his first ever pro victory.

Big result for Taaramae, first win outside Estonia for a long time. Adam Yates did great too - pity that Simon crashed out with a broken collarbone.

Saw the last 6km on my phone, riders looked really drained, how hard was the finish? So happy about Yates. |

Last 3 km was something like 11,5% average... Great ride by Yates and Taaramae. |

Merhawi Kudus and Louis Meintjes have been amazing this season. I'm sure they'll both be contenders for a GT podium in the future

Pff...he's at Torku. Any result in Tour of Turkey is invalid anyway as there's no way to know how doped up he is.
If he isn't, it's still only decent considering it's their home race.
If he is, it's abysmal.

Yes, granted. Just have the revival pattern firmly imprinted in my mind now, so everything gets lumped in for right or wrong |

It's somehow annoying seeing people here, just talking about doped Turkish riders or teams.
If thats the case, these guys could talk about the tour de france in the same way asweel, because as you know a 7year winner was doped aswell.
What i just want to say is, that you should stop spotting a tour or a Tour, becuase they are not the only people who "ever" found doped.
If you are so damn angry about this tour of turkey, then you shouldnt watch it.
Always talking about who could be doped is so lame....
It would be much more interesting seeing you guys writing about the race itself and the riders performances and tactics and future candidates.
I didnt want to attack anyone , just wanted to tell you my opinion about all that doping shit and the prejudices about turkish teams.
Probably i shouldnt care but as a German i wouldnt like it aswell if you would just say that kittel or greipel is doped.

The last 2 winners of the Tour of Turkey were absolute nobodies who rode for Torku. Both of them put in the most obviously doped performances of the year. Both of them were quickly found guilty of doping.
There has to come a point where you see the pattern. You can't just stick your head in the sand and not talk about it.

Are Torku on the biological passport now then?
I remember the organisers saying they would only invite teams on the passport, but the passport system was only being used by PCT and PT teams at the time

No CT teams still aren't part of it IIRC. It is way too expensive.
