I really would like finances fixed so playing Continental teams would make sense - now it doesn't at all.
It's quite easy to make your sponsors happy in first season but then with every another one it's harder and harder till it comes to the stage when after reaching all objectives and winning Pro Tour with 3,000 pts they are only on "average". Obviously you don't get better money of them then.
I've worked out that amount they pay you when you start can be multiply only around 5 times. That means if you choose Continental team with 50k a month you will never get more then 250k (even after 10 seasons and winning Pro Tour 8 years in the row) and if you start with 550k Quick Step you can reach 2.75m (not sure about that thoe). I think that 2.75m is way too much and 250k is a joke. It should be more less equal for all the teams (something around 1m) so you can make a good team with any, not only the top ones.
Obviously you can fix it with Hannes but that's not a point. I think that all primary sponsor thing should be changed in new PCM. It should be sign like a contract, with amount they'll be paying you, lenght and all extra clauses like: races you have to participate (and penalty for not doing it), expectations for each season, bonuses you will get (eg. for promotion or top 5), amount of native (or sponsor's nationality) riders in team, equipment that they want you to use (not all of them will make these) and so on. And then, when their contract is about to expire you should be able to renew it (or not if they aren't happy with you) or sign a new one with being able to negotiate any part of it. I think that signing a new one when old one is still valid will be intresting too (then new company will pay off the old one). If new one signed, name of the team would be changed alongside with team colors and most important races (same with any other team - you would get a message like "Saxo Bank changed their name to Adidas Pro Team" or whatever). That will solve the sponsor bug, make it more realistic (as small companies that sponsor most of the Continental teams are not able to pay big money) and make game more interesting... at least in my eyes.

honestly just a suggestion for this forum maybe put your thoughts in quick bullets so that it's easier to read if cyaniode checks. Chances are they'd read the one with bullets rather than a bigg paragraph
eg
Better Fiannces so that it's more realistic.
Better More realistic transfers.

In all other games is now very popular to add my player option in the game, so i think that it would not be bad if you could create yourself in cycling game too, train and control only your cyclist in the game.
If someone already suggest this, my apologise that i did not read all thread. |

Cities! There only ever seem to be a few small hamlets dotted around the course, prologues that are entirely within cities are just running through fields etc. That is one change I would be happy with. Other than that, it's been pretty great.. |

Sorry but a one line suggestion is not very helpful neither. E.G "Better More realistic transfers" is not a suggestion. Sure it could be better but the base of the suggestion is to explain how it should be.
That's a shame because we (Cyanide) don't take enough attention to the suggestions posted here. We don't read this forum daily. The best way to get a chance to be read would be to post the suggestion, or better said a summary of the suggestions, in the english part of the Cyanide forum. Even though our forum is not very active in the english part, there's a lot more chances that a Cyanide staff read a suggestion there.
You already know that suggestions for pcm2010 are too late, but it is still interesting for further versions. |

I'd rather have them work on gameplay and everything else than using money on licenses. They will get maximum half of what they need and we will edit the database later anyway |

A couple more things;
- name of the mountain/hill/Pauve section/city that the riders are entering should be posted on the screen somewhere. I remember that this used to be a part of CM a few years ago.
- fix the AI. I'll give an example from the Russian and Swiss championships I ran last night. In both I had riders who were no favourites (maybe 10th and 15th, respectively). Yet any time I'd attack, the peleton would bring me right back. Then in the Russian one, Trofimov, Kolobnev, Ignatiev all got away and no one moves a finger. Similarly in the Swiss championships. All the teams with muliple riders just let the escapees gain 20 minutes! If you had a team of 8 riders, you would make sure that none of the other favourites escape and if there is an escape with no name players, you'd chase it down or at least keep at a reasonable level. And you'd stop chasing my rider who's no better than average every time he gets a tiny gap. In general I find that to win the National championships, you can't let any breaks go and/or you have to be a part of them, which really means that you have to be a dominant rider to win, i.e. much better than the competition. |

how about making the front wheel turn when going round a corner.
an option to see the podium even when we return to the main hub screen, that way when the game crashes agfter the stage, which for most people must be around 1 in every 3 stages, we can still see the podium.

the front wheel doesn't turn in reeal life because they go so fast that the just lean over and that steers the bike. It does rarely turn but not much.

i dont know if its been suggested, but what about historical challenges? I think trying to either recreate or rewrite some of the greatest bike races ever would be great, and it would add a whole new dimension to the game. |

It doesnt happen, you never turn your wheel on a bike, unless you are at very low speed.
And technically it would mean that we have to animate the bike.

You would need to load the whole stage to see the podium again. If you can't finish 1 stage over three, you have a big problem because in doesnt happen on normal configurations. |

Why not make podium not in stage file, but in it's own. I think it is quite easy in technical means and downloading this animation would be very fast

And it would be nice to let riders without contract to take part in national championships, especially for those nationals, where there isn't many teams and riders

As well as this, having the roads run around the side of mountains (so you see the valley beside). I notice it doesn't do that much. The picture explains better.
Also, it'd be cool to get the sprints to slow down to real time and no sprinting from 2km out!

Do you ride road bikes?
The front wheel never turns independent of the frame, you turn by shifting your body weight. |

Very minor but maybe add an abandon button for injured riders instead of having them labour through it or stop them and have them wait a while before the stage ends. Also works for sprinters if they want to race the begining of a stage race when there are a lot of flat stages and abandon in the end to avoid the mountain stages. |
