Good win Voeckler.

You know what, i'm very happy. Voeckler is a rider i really like who (quite honestly) deserves this, well done.

Finally we learnt something else, cavendish has been saying "i'm not going for the green jersey", we've learnt he's going for points.

By the way, does anyone have any info on Freire? He's been pretty much invisible for all stages so far.

no.
He's going for stages. If he can win 4 stages the green jersey should come, but "if i end up in paris with green without stage wins, i'd be dissapointed, if i'm in paris, no green but stage wins, i'd be happy"

Great win for Voeckler. It's amazing that breakaway survived.

He has said that he is going for green as well... There was still a chance that they would catch Voeckler, why drop out of a srint when it is only 1 km left?

Even if Cavendish said that he wasn't going for the green jersey, it was before the tour. You don't need to be a genius to try to get it when you have 16 points of advantage over Hushovd and Freire and Boonen aren't even in the scoreboard.
