Stage 4
Today we have to defend the leader jersey..Great surprise to have Nozal in third position before the start.
Plaza..
Liberty controlling a race..today they looking real good...everything is under control.
68 km to go Mura, Herrero atack
10 to go..Pacheco atacking again..Plaza knows that this guy is dangerous when he go's . he follows.
..and they slow down and will wait peloton..
Next hill and Saramontis... Andre Cardoso atack..
Plaza is in panic..he need to follow because GC 3rd. Moreno decided to go..has he missed it? 5km. to go..
Cardoso got a lead..Plaza is trying to get into chase group..
..and Andre Cardoso takes a stage win..
Plaza has caught chase group..just before the sprint..great defending..he is taking 3rd. place today.
problems with result export just wont stop..everytime I trying to export game crashes..so here is results..

Breakaway group was formed..Liberty tryed to get Rodrigues into...failed. Then we send Isidro Nozal after breakaway group..he made it..
hilly final part has started..Nozal decided to go alone..breakaway group did not work together and move fast enough..
..and they started to chase Nozal..most active are Serramenti guys..why not they have Serpa and Scarponi in that group...
51 km. to go..one of race favorite Vicioso atack..this is surprise..to early for me..Auge (lonely Cofidis rider) follows. Main group was ready..they reacted quick enough.
Nozal just keep on pushing..main group has starting to close a gap. Just Nozal is left at the front..
Rabo is controlling a race..Branco atack..this is serious we have 25 to go..
Bertolini and Lastras counter..
Berolini has cought Nozal..they starting to work together...
20km. to go..nozal long day at the front is over..Rabo and Fuji teams has worked hard at the front..
Last climb and 10km to go..there go's nr. 1 Cobo..
..our leader Ribeiro is trying to follow...
He is not strong enough..before hill top Kessiakoff passes him. Fuji has 2 guys at the front..last descent..
..Tschopp and Astarloza has cought Ribeiro..who will take podium last place?..
Cobo takes a win..Kessiakoff seond..great day for Fuji..
Riberio holding 3rd...well done! Another 3rd. amazing season continues..
Cobo
..and another spoiled (crashed) exported result for us..

We had quite empty calender and managment decided to give sprinters oportunity...
But not good..terrible weter..rainy and windy day..this is gonna be hard..
split..65km to go..Vilela get into Des jeux group..few km. later group comes back together..this was warning.
46,3 to go Joachim and Krijswijk atack..
16km to go and..another split..and I hate windy day sprints..
10km. to go..and atack. Voeckler and Krivtsov...
Vilela short counter..but no way. He comes back..
Just before the sprint..another atack Van Impe and Krivtsov..
--spint has started ...van Impe has small advantage and he just keep on going..
Manual Cardoso is a little to behind..he starting to move up..
van Impe holding a lead..Cardoso is fastet man..
..
2nd. Harbonnier..Cardoso 3rd..great come back..(another 3rd for Liberty)
Kevin Van Impe..

This is first Ardennes classic..I have in invatation for all 3.. I reay dont expect much. I remember Milano- San Remo all aces was there and top form..and when they started to ride this was to fast for me. Plan would be just hang on has long as possible..
I am almost shure that I can ride better Giro compared to classics.
Early breakaway..Hupont started it..Kreuziger..Vilela follows..245 km. to go.. It is weird to see Kreuziger there.
Vandevelde and Kreuziger decided to go alone..tempo was to much for Vilela.
Leipheimer coming into breakaway group..what they are planning there is 175km. to go..
another mystery...Klöden is first guy who cant follow main group speed..
Pietropolli and Geslin, Garate atack..94km. to go..
39km. to go..Dekker, Moncoutie..race has started. Tempo will hurt now...
Nocentini atack..29.1km to go..
22. to go..Ivanov and Andy
Valverde counters..
12 to go..lead group is formed...Andy, Valverde, Ivanov, Kirchen, Cunego, Wegmann, Uran, Leukemans, Kroon
Final km. and uphill sprint...ivanov takes a lead..Cunego, Wegmann, Gilbert hasn't givin up yet..
..and Ivanov takes Amstel Gold win(isn't that weird)..2nd. Wegmann..3rd. Kroon.
Plaza crossing a line..3'52 later..he is totaly empty 22nd. place.
Sergei Ivanov

This time Guerra getting oportunity to be a team leader..
Like in Amstel..they dont wait..firework starts when we have 200km. to go..Serpa and Dominquez.
..and strong breakaway group is formed..Zubeldia , Anton included.
Copy from Amstel..first man who cant follow main group speed is Klöden..Why he is racing after Amstel Gold disaster?
86,7 km. to...Ardila and Paurjol..atack..
Then..Leukemans , Astarloza and Albasini.
..De Bonis crashed and will lost contact with main group..
40km. to go Main group has starting to catch breakaway group..Anton launches another atack..to get away..
Saxo is pulling hard and fast..Liberty riders starting to drop away ..one after another. Guerra still in it.
13,5km. to go..Kirchen going first...
Barredo, Sanchez, Albasini, Florencio follows..Guerra is already riding inside red zone..
5'9km. to go..this is where Sami is the best he has cought Kirchen in descent..
Chase group has not given up...Barredo, Albasini, Valverde, Gilbert, Nocentini, Pellizotti, Leipheimer, Moncoutie
..and the Huy..
they are cought Kirchen, Sanchez duo..Nocentini takes the lead..
Gilbert and Sanchez taking over..Kirchen is trying to hang on..
..who has a strongest final kick..Sami has a narrow lead now..
But..Philippe Gilbert takes a Fleche Wallonne win..
This is not good for team morale before Giro..we lost less time then Amstel..but best place is lower in the results. One classic left

Last one..Plaza is back in leader role..
They wont wait today..Pereiro and Zubeldia decided to go..252 to go..
54 to go...Evans is at the front..he is pulling real hard for Gilbert..Plaza in trouble..
Armstrong cant follow that speed..
Cote de Sprimont (31km. to go)..Barredo atack...
Gilbert, Valverde, Fränk, Cunego counters..
..this is it for Plaza..all energy gone. He has "hit the wall"..
Strong trio getting away Fränk, Gilbert, Valverde...
Chase group...Pineau, Kirchen, Barredo, Cunego..
9,4 km. to go..they are back together..some extra guys ...Kroon, Nocentini, Albasini..
6,2 km to go...Cote de Saint-Nicolas..Gilbert atack..Fleche winner is great shape. Valverde follows..
Valverde and Gilbert getting away....uphill sprint to take.
Fränk has left ...Cunego, Nocentini and Barredo behind..holding 3rd.
Last km..man against man..fair sprint.
Valverde takes it..2nd. for Gilbert
Fränk Schleck holding 3rd..
Plaza has finished race...7'05 after winner..35th.
Last man today..Victor Concalves..he has nothing left bearly moving forward. Not smart choise for managment to choose Liege- Bastogne - Liege race for Victor came back after long injury..
