@Crommy/Crue,
I agree. Came out looking sweet considering. Just a little improvisation required. Unfortunately, like so many other parts of the game, the graphic files have a refective nature. Which means buildings, cars etc are made up of 1 or 2 simple images and the rest of the structure is a mirror. So text and some graphics are backwards. Very very annoying,. Miya's been good enough to break this on some of his creations. I got excited about doing the Service Stations in detail, but discovered I couldnt as the Service Station is really only 1 window, 1 door and 1 wall so lots of what I had originally planned, is not in the final file.
Ive been playing around with GMAX, 3D Studio and Lightwave for the past day or so. Managed to get some buildings down like I did before my PC crashed back in July. For some unknown reason my 3D apps and PCM07 wouldnt launch even after formatting and a fresh XP reimaging. Im restricted to testing things only in 06 as a result until the "computer fairy" comes along and leaves a new setup under my pillow sometime in the future. I can only assume if it works in 06 then "touch wood" it should very well work in 07.
Stay tuned for more jems from Roadies stable....

Ive been working on a few residential buildings in the past week. Im in the process of testing them as much as possible with various scenarios. Here is one of the smaller towers. I have developed taller more ellaborate. When I find out if they work I will release them to the communty.

Yes I know. I edited one stage with signs. It took 4 1/2 hours, but looked awesome when played. |

I have reworked a lot of the 2007 TDF stages to look as close to what they were in July. I have added all my own Signs, Advertising Boards, London Buses, Police and other features. If you're interested in a copy, let me know.
Here are snap shots of the opening Prologue. Every advertising barrier is close to where it was during ths stage in London given the available race layout.
