Sanchez, at least the Samu one, will not ride this years Tour. He's gonna win the Vuelta, at least he says he will.
Indeed, this route sucks. And I am afraid of the favourites keeping all their energy for the Ventoux stage, resulting in a very boring race. But then again, the riders make the race and maybe this easier route results in more attractive riding. It can go either way. |

This is going to be a boring Tour. The only thing that can live up the tour is some nice doping scandals. Why not Contador?
Now, that is one thing it doesn't need. The Tour has become the race I least look forward to because of this. Who wants to spend hours and hours watching a race and then have everything prove to be a waste of time?
Better the Giro's approach in my mind. Just like the Tour since it got all militant over the last few years - ie. awash with drugs - but no failed tests. Much tidier. |

The fact that it the biggest race on the calendar means people really want to do something there.
Yeah the route is boring, hopefully the racing won't be.

The thing is its not going to be that boring because you look at andy schleck and he has got to attack o nthe mountain top finishes as he is not a great time trialer Therefore i think it wont be as boring as you lot claim. Also is igor anton riding??? I like him a lot a really good rider. |

Sanchez isnt preselected according to cyclingstartlists.com, and Fuglsang isnt in Saxo's 10 men pre selection either. |

Amount said 6 posts above yours that Sanchez won't ride, as for Fuglsang I doubt him to ride. As far as I know he has peaked for this Dauphine (+ last month Cataluyna) and will take a break until Post Denmark...
But I'm sure the danes knows that better than me, so wait for them to answer
EDIT: Didn't see your post mrlol...

Thanks, as for Sanchez it was to confirm
So, imo, he's the big favourite for Vuelta. |

Thinking here..
Maybe it's a little tour caravan fault that we wont see as many mountain top finishes as we like to see?
It's much easy to but this finish some place where we have blenty of room ..infrastructure etc. etc. |

About Fuglsang, it's his first pro season, and following Riis' philosophy, those riders never get to ride the TdF in their first season. However, he's been doing extremely well, and media is constantly saying that he should go to TdF.
But Riis is Riis. It took him more than 10 years to admit that he doped, and there's no chance he's going to change his view on this either |
