Stage 2
A hilly stage made for the punchers, but with a long downhill section, Maybe Haussler and Hushovd can get past it?
Todays brekaway.
They got caught at the last hill, but none of the favorites can get a gab at the hill.
Haussler and Hushovd still in the peleton, and Haussler still got some energy.
But then with 7km to go Kreuziger attacks!
Vicioso, Plaza, Hushovd, Haussler, Herraro, and Biondo counters!
Hushovd leading out Haussler.
Haussler sprints past Hushovd he is coming with great speed.
And he gets past Vicioso and takes the stage and the yellow jersey!
Hushovd finishing 4th.
Result:
1 Heinrich Haussler Cervélo Test Team 4h23'05
2 David Herrero Xacobeo - Galicia s.t.
3 Ángel Vicioso Andalucía Cajasur s.t.
4 Thor Hushovd Cervélo Test Team s.t.

13 André Cardoso Palmeiras Resort / Tavira s.t.
14 Davide Rebellin Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni - Androni Giocattoli s.t.
15 Jesús Del Nero Fuji - Servetto s.t.
116 Xavi Florencio Cervélo Test Team + 4'19
134 Andreas Klier Cervélo Test Team + 4'59
135 Ignas Konovalovas Cervélo Test Team s.t.
136 Serge Pauwels Cervélo Test Team s.t.
159 Brett Lancaster Cervélo Test Team + 10'35
160 Roger Hammond Cervélo Test Team + 12'11
Great stage, it wasn't in our favor but because of no big attacks Haussler and Hushovd could keep up.
With this win we have already met our expection of this race, but why not go for some more? B)

Okay good hehe but another question, how do you take pictures in ITT's and TTT's? I can't see replays, and I can't take the pictures when they are riding, Cause I of course don't have a clue on who will win. (Also for anyone) |

Volta ao Algarve
Stage 3
Another Hilly stage, a bit harder and difficult for Hushovd and Haussler.
Todays breakaway contains only 2 riders.
On the downhill section of the last hill, they are caught and Zaballa attacks.
Soon after Kessiakoff, Vicioso, Plaza and Garzelli counters.
Hushovd and Haussler wants to join the fun.
But Hushvod can't keep up with Haussler's leaving Haussler alone with the others.
A fighting Herraro came from the peleton with Kreuziger and took the stage win and the yellow jersey.
In the other sprint Kreuziger took the 2th, while Kessiakoff took the 3th.
Haussler got the 4th which is actully a good result, compared to the stage and whom he came in with.

Well Hushovd finishing 5th isn't that bad. Kreuziger dominated the time trial and must by now have won the race. He also took the Sprinters jersey from Haussler. This means that Haussler has to get a good position on the last stage, which is quite possible he get because it is a flat stage. |

Trofeo Laigueglia
The race is hilly so hopefully Gerrans can be up front despite his lack of form.
Todays breakaway, I let Wyss join it. Italy's champion Simeoni is also in it.
At the last mountain the strongest of the breakaway and the favorites are riding together, Gerrans and Wyss are still present.
Then Marzzanti attacks, gaining a good gab.
And nobody can't catch him. A Wwin for Mazzanti.
In the rest of the favorites sprint, Popovych came 2th, with Geslin on the 3th.
Simon Gerrans finished 8th, Quite good, he had nearly no races in his legs.
Martin Wyss taking the 11th which is very promising by the youngster.
