oh, yeah, just seen him now, also Ivan Parra Pinto, has attacked from within the 'Bettini' group over the top of the climb |

this could be dangerous....Codol, Savoldelli and Mazzoleni are all from Bergamo...they all know these roads like the back of their hand.....and they're all in the breakaway...with Simoni and Garzelli!!

looks like a decisive break to me, i'm sure the Codol, Savo, Mazzoleni, Simoni, Garzelli group will catch the 'Bettini, Rasmussen, etc.' group |

am I the only one who thinks Lampre are idiots to be working on the peloton?
they should be taking this opportunity to tire Liquigas, I think... |

GO SIMONI, and Garzelli. I want Simoni to win overall but Garzelli to have a good show cuz he is old. I feel sorry for Schlek, I was rooting for the young lad. Oh well. |

the maglia rosa group is down to about 15...and no more Liquigas guys there...incredibly, Lampre keeps hammering at it...
why not let the Liguigas guys murder themselves and then attack with Cunego+Bruseghin.???
this reminds-me of the "brilliant" T-Mobile tactics...

at this point Liquigas doesn't really have anyone in the chase group. The gap is still going up but Shleck just went down, hope he can get back on. Bettini will win the stage if he can hold on. |

Simoni attacks, only Garzelli can follow for now
back in the "peloton", Cunego is dropped!!
Bruseghin isn't...and Schleck doesn't seem well..
this is getting pretty exciting

not very sporting at all
and yes, Lampre are idiots!!!!, they put the pace on in the pack and this results in their leader getting dropped, so in affect they managed to drop their own leader, by chasing a lost cause |

what I meant is no matter the advantage of the breakaway, Lampre's biggest opponent is Di Luca. It's imperative to tire his team out. if Di Luca isn't isolated early tomorrow, Lampre will be feeling quite sorry...
Also, don't count Cunego out. he, like Simoni is always very much stronger in the third week. However, if he loses time tomorrow, he's out...

Watch out for Eddy! He seems that can effort the pace of Gibo. I don't know exactly his TT skills, but if he does a good time tomorrow, he could be in the podium. |

Eddy in the podium? Well, everything seems to be possible, but there must be limits |

BEST SCENE OF THE SEASON!!!
Perez Cuapio keeps yelling at Piepoli to hurry up the pace...Piepoli keeps telling him he's dead tired...
a little later the devil started running alongside them,.,..
Cuapio takes the guy's pitchfork and pokes Piepoli in the rear and yells at him to hurry up!!!

Saunier one-two and Simoni is definitely nowhere near his strength of previous years... |
