Yep, glad too see some of us Americans aren't complete idiots.

He said so himself a while ago that he will only post results if he thinks there's a chance of anyone finding them suspicious.

My favorite quote
trimande
to JoVadebrouck,
So many europeans just cant handle the fact that a clean, drug free american completely dominated your doped up peloton. Get over it. Lance is just a more determined, genetically superior athlete. Where are Tom Boonens test results?

To any normal human being there is not a great deal suspicious about those test results. The fact he undertook intense training (ie racing the TDU) would increase levels significantly. I find some of your jumping to conclusions upon results you clearly have no idea about insulting to the scientific community.
If required, I can provide quantitative research journals into the effects on altitude upon haemoglobin etc, and then you'll see that the changes in his blood make up, and hormone levels, quite normal. In fact, I shan't doubt for one second that when he goes to train for the Giro or Tour in high altitude, and his haemoglobin sky rockets that nigh-on 90% of you all will shout "dope" before you even realise what you are saying.
Give the lad a chance, and yourself a chance to learn about the human body.

Okay, that's a clear sign that Armstrong ain't human.

Also, Ruben and Schleck93, haematocrit can change daily depending upon your hydration levels, time of day tested, etc, etc. You cannot go upon haematocrit as a basis for doping. Yes it can be used as a indicator somethings going on, but that has to be looking at averages of weekly values (tested every day) at the same time, consistently, and being at the same hydration levels all the time.

Quite right. GIven the values he's publishing, there's nothing we can ascertain from them. The only possible way for those values alone to tell us he doped would be for his haematocrit to stay constant or even rise during a 3 week stage race.

In fact, just whether you're standing or sitting down can make it vary, since the lifespan of a red blood cell is so short.

I also doubt that Armstrong would put any tests up that were 'insecure'. He knows enough about this to know that those values won't get him in trouble by any means. |

It isn't that short. A red blood cell has a lifespan of 3 to 4 months. |
