I know Northug is the best sprinter but it isnt what i say. I mean why do newspapers make so big deal about they sprint when Teichman didnt even try to sprint.
And no i dont think that if you see the 15km from Gellivare Teichman finished in front of Di Centa...

You can't take just one result as a great example. It's the same thing like saying Lars Berger is a great shooter because he shot clear once and won. The truth is that Teichmann is worse than he was.
About the first thing, Halvor started this because it was fun to watch Northug sprinting and falling and Teichmann resigned to the faster pace of Northug.

C'mon, I am talking about general skiing. You are just restricting to 15km and Di Centa.
And back to the center of the question: if Teichmann was in a bad day there was no way he could finish 3rd and he didn't sprint because he knew Northug would beat him. |

But this is the closest to 15km Free. Since De Centa did all the job himself Axel did all the job.
He could finish third with a bad day when he have a very nice lead like he did.. I think he didnt sprint because he did have nothing to sprint with. He was dead. But i say that that you cant call it a sprint like the newspaper do when one of them dont sprint..

In the last part I agree with you, that wasn't a sprint because, like I said earlier, he knew he couldn't beat the norwegian. |

Stop beeing so Northug blind!
I dont know it's diffrence to sprint in the uphill it is there at the last meters than it is in a normal flat sprint..
But he didnt sprint because he was dead! Everybody would atleast fighted for it if they had powers left. But he didnt have anything..

I am no Northug blind, I just like to see a good cross-country race.
As you said Axel did all the job, so he could well be dead at the end. But he was not in a very bad day, ortherwise he wouldn't do all the job. |

Not to all B)
Probably, he had. Probably, he was dead at the finish because he has done all the work. Probably, not surely. Most probable is that Northug would have beaten Axel even if he sprinted.

Suspension of Ivan Tcherezov
With regard to Art. 6.6.4.3.4.2 of the IBU Anti Doping Rules the athlete Ivan Tcherezov from RUSSIA was suspended from the Relay competition yesterday due to a haemoglobin value that exceeds the limits, set out in the IBU Rules, for Health Reasons.
Please be aware that this is not a doping case. These parameters can be naturally elevated in various situations such as altitude training, dehydration, natural genetic selection etc. However, in our efforts to combat doping, we automatically test all athletes with such high values for all known doping agents (transfusion, epo, etc).
The suspension shall take immediate effect from the respective competition until blood re-testing shows normalization of their blood parameters. This re-test will take place no sooner than 5 days from the time of the test that led to the suspension.

I haven't seen such a good performance for Norway at ages . But the men's relay will satisfy you, I predict.
Makarainen did a great job. She was perfect and she even left Henkel behind. |
