Very on brand in not getting the win, but at least some life shown today. I'm not sure there are any more breakaway friendly stages left.

Was a bit worried about Choi losing time on that stage. No harm done, so we're good.
Congrats to tsmoha and thanks for the report Fab

That's what we came for! Finally, sort of.. was'nt too impressed with our breakaway efforts so far, even though it got better once the profiles got harder. This stage win by Hamilton is obviously nice then and it ain't really a surprise that it's him to do that.
His GC position possibly too high now to allow him to keep fighting for breakaways/KoM honors? Maybe he will get there at some point though..

Stage 14 was a ridiculously predictable outcome of a lot of energy to not catch the breakaway and not get given a gap.
Stage 15 gets a for the stage win and yellow but again a huge attack for a 27 second gap plus bonuses. Great progress to get the race lead but obviously going to need much more time over the next few stages if we want to keep yellow through the TT - and with the amount of attacking we are doing even keeping it until then might not be likely.

Vasyliv holding on and grabbing a top 10 at the finish. Back into the top 10 as well. He is racing very well!]
Congrats to Jandal for the win and another excellent report from Fabianski

Congrats Jandal Bennett has been on fire recently!
Some time lost only to Bennett for us, so it's not doom and gloom yet. Not sure why Eenkhoorn is struggling so much though! He was the clear favourite for the U25s but is losing time in every stage now. Not a lot of climbing left besides the TTs. Need Choi to be in contact and try to grind away at those ahead of him for the rest of the final week.
Thanks for the report Fab

Great to see Bennett on top!
Canty with a good result, too. Which gives me hope that we will continue to see breakaways with maybe those two (Canty, Hamilton) plus Bayly/Lane sharing this job.

Several solid days in the the medium and high mountains have seen Georg Zimmermann make significant progress towards victory in the Youth Classification and is challenging for Top 10 in the General Classification. Given the amount of time he lost in the prologue, he'll need several more solid performances on the climbs remaining before returning to the TT-bike for Stage Twenty.
Alexander Krieger was the shining star at the opening of the second week, following on from his Stage Seven podium with victory on the ninth day! He chose the correct wheel and timed his sprint brilliantly. Although the rise of several climbers and attackers has seen him slowly dropping down the ranks, if he can survive the mountains and the remaining flat stages are contested in a bunch sprint, then the podium of the Points Classification is within reach.
After that first week, you might have been forgiven for thinking that Daniel Hoelgaard just didn't have the legs to be competitive here. You would have been wrong; he was just saving himself for the harder stages to come. After being unable to secure a podium with a late attack, Hoelgaard instead put in a solid shift in the breakaway. A podium against some strong PCT riders is nothing to scoff at.
Torjus Sleen also managed to maneuver himself into a Top 10 on the final stage of the week, having worked to keep Zimmermann in the favourite's group. Georgios Kaloniatis was the only other significant contributor: spending some time as a morning escapee in Stage Eight before taking multiple turns at the front of the peloton throughout the rest of the week.
Things are starting to come together for us here in America. A massive thanks to Fabianski for some truly stunning reports!

Ok, starting to get worried about our record of always winning a Stage here...
In GC terms we haven't made any headlines but Mannion 23rd and Dunne and Brandt both in the top 35 isn't too bad

What...am...I...even...doing...here? At this point my team is more unlucky with promotion to PCT than the Arizona Coyotes are with finding an arena in the state

Great to see Ranaweera attacking, shame it was on a stage without a mountain top finish and it came to nothing.
Congrats to jandal and thanks for the great reports Fab.

Aaaaaargh! Obviously as the report (what an epic!) says that could have been worse... but still not a great one to miss a stage win like that and concede time to Choi when we really need to be gaining it. These stalemates suit Choi and Faglum Karlsson really well so we need a huge MTT and Mt. Diablo if we want the GC win.
Congrats Abhi, it wouldn't feel right if Choi didn't get his stage win at some point

Lost a bit of time and out of the top 10. Hopefully those TTs help Vasyliv and we also just need 1 big mountain day to move up in the GC. Just like Ranaweera today. Vasyliv is racing well and that top 10 is something he will fight for! Hopefully with the TT's and his fairly decent Mountain skills he can get there.

As close as it gets but Choi finally got there! Nice to see him being aggressive earlier as well. Shame for jandal but Bennett has been having a good time lately and we needed to get something back on the regular stages and not only be dependent on the TTs. Eenkhoorn looked a bit better which is nice and TvA surviving comfortably is also great.
Thanks for the report Fab

Now that's how you do it!
Pretty amazing effort by our guys in this queen stage. Putting several riders into the break is obviously our way to go here (surprised to see Canty alongside Hamilton and Power though) and despite the early "misses" at the KoM points, Hamilton did great to fight back for the KoM-lead. Power ain't a classic breakaway rider, but he's a great diesel and these tactics for him keeping the pace for Hamilton was actually close to perfection!
Slightly "disappointing" that Canty lost some time eventually (since he's our only real GC guy thanks to his TT skills), but he's still in contention for a GC Top-15, if I'm not mistaken. Hamilton again a tad too high for my liking (as he won't stand a chance without breakaway appearances, I guess), but I can't really complain with how the second half of the race went so far
Thanks for another epic report!

Great stuff from Kraftwerk!
Haller going for most km on the front of the peloton. Nerz on the front! The whole team all in for Ranaweera and he didn't let us down.
3rd in a reduced sprint is a great result for such a diesel. But for the time loss on stage 13 he would be a solid podium contender and he could still get there if his TT training bears fruit.
The Teams competition is no longer in sight after the team buried themselves.
Congrats to Abhi and thanks for an amazing novel of a report, what a great read.
