Ok, i think its time to clear things a little bit.
About the sprint; I watched the video a few time, i have to say, first, u can see, both of us have no idea how to sprint;-)
Anyways yes it looks incorrect, but beleive me, thats just a camera angle, I was there and I let him just enough room to pass, if he was stronger (but he wasnt as i outsprinted him also in catalunya with contition not even 70% of saturdays), he would have had pass me.
About working together: Both of us were going 100%, im sure there was no fooling around.
About celebrating: I just dont care what one says, if i want to celebrate for 10th, i will, theres no rule that forbids me do that. Yes i knew he was infront:-)
One more thing, I dont blame anyone saying this and that, and friendship does not end, when friends do not agree in one thing, does it?

Nice to read from you. :-)
I have one question about Astana : what's the language there ? When it was the old ONCE/Liberty team I guess Spanish was on, but now ? Russian ? English ? Still Spanish ? |

You can't always judge from what the camera shows. In other words you can't always believe what you see. What?!? What I am trying to say is that sometimes the camera (especially the camera they use at the finish line) can distort distances. I am not smart enough to explain it all here but maybe someone will give it a go.
In a magazine last month they talked about Steve Bauer's sprint in the WC. It was a three up sprint and he collided with a Belgium rider. From the camera angle it looked like it was Bauer's fault but from the helicopter cam it was clearly the Belgians fault.
Jb, go ahead and celebrate if you want. If I finished that race in last place, I would still celebrate. Hell, if I got to ride on the team bus I would celebrate like you did.

Its pretty awesome that you didn't have a go at anyone. I have to agree with the camera angle thing. I have noticed time and time again that things can be distorted on Tv cameras especially at distance. Personally im not bothered about celebrating for second. Like most people i would be celebrating last place or even finishing Congrats JB, i wish you the best for the future. |

Jb I wish you said this the first time Ofcourse you are allowed to cheer for every place. It's just very uncommon, that's why most people, like me, thought that you cheered for the win.
But I believe you! Hope you have a good season next year although I'm sure your season already starts soon, as you probably start training again in november/december... |

dont start asking questions like that, please. let him browse the forum, and dont start asking him how goes this, what you think about that etc.
And I must agree, a 2nd place in Lombardia is something most of us can only dream about
