I think someone will be very happy with todays announcement
I have nothing against the Thrashers but their management is one of the worst in my opinion.. Did nothing to root for their team or something but a bad PR thing with a jailed mascot.. But I like their roster at the moment
The Thrashers will move to Winnipeg and so Atlanta lost the 2nd (and last time) a franchise, I would be very disappointed:
1. If the NHL says at the 21st of June no to the relocation..
2. If they won't be named the Jets
I hope Quebec will get a team, maybe even Hamilton but I just see one team that could be relocated in the next years.. Phoenix' team will move 2013 maybe as I don't think Glendale will take again 25 million dollar to have the team there
Even with bad attendance they won't let the Islanders team move

Yeah, I skipped school and watched it on TV and then went to the Forks to celebrate with with my friends random strangers. There were even performances and stuff. Also the local radio station which used to cover the AHL team but now also the NHL team, came to my school and interviewed tons of people including the Provincial champs winning hockey team's captains and co-captains.
Also they better be named the Jets, but Falcons and Rebels are also fairly popular. I just dont see why they shouldn't be called the Jets.
Also about Phoenix, Glendale wanted to keep the team atleast one extra season, because they most likely would have lost more than 25 Million in loses due to neighbouring buisnesses like restaurants etc.
Now that WE finally have a team again, I think the most deserved of a team, is Saskatoon or Regina, or somewhere in the states where hockey will be successfull. If you think about it Montreal and Quebec City are prettty close to each other, so someone from QC could get to MO in less than a day. Formerly for someone in Saskatoon or Regina to get to an NHL game, it would have taken pretty much the whole day just to get there, unless you fly there, same deal with Winnipeg (until now, except we were a little further.)
FYI- There was atleast 100,000 people at the party today, so all those haters can go hate on something else, because we have more than enough willing to go to the games each night.
Also Mark Chipman kept on saying Mark Keane instead of Mike Keane, shame on him.
We'll the teachers were pretty much letting us leave anyway. (So its really all their fault) All we would have done in the schooltime I missed was watched Live Feeds of the conference, and if not it was Physical Education (something I excel at) anyway.
And its not too often these things come up, I wanted to be a part of it. Its pretty much a once in a lifetime experience.
Not my video btw.

Pretty impressive showing by Boston tonight. I had the Canucks winning from the beginning and they won't disappoint. Bring the cup back to Canada!
Dont overrate the Bruins win
Too many unforced errors leading to goals, and by then the game was over, and they tried too hard to score goals instead of keeping it from a blow-out. The right thing in the playoffs, but if they tried to hold the score as it was, you all wouldn't be blinded by the score. I dont know how many times a Canuck player was high-sticked or hit from behind.
Also the Bruins are huge hypocrites, with the finger issue. I lost all respect for those goons.
And since when is a goalie allowed to stand straight up from a butterfly position to cross-check the player coming towards him, while making no effort to save the puck, and stopping a sure goal. I know so many people that think that was a beast move, but really beast is the wrong word.
But atleast with 8 goals the Canucks have "fire under their bellies" for the next game. If Kesler wasn't injured I think he could win it by himself (Game 4).

Impressive showing from Boston, but as Valverde said the cup will probably go to Canada (first time since 1993 if i remember right?)
Also interesting that Krejci tied Jagr for most czech goals in one playoffs with 11goals,he is doing really great
Tonight is the night.
What do you think what do you hope for?
Ultimate would be if the Sedin's will determine the whole damn party to the Canucks advantage, of course!
I don't care that much after the Sharks got eliminated somehow..^^
First time after big tall Uwe Krupp 1996 that a german will win the Stanley Cup so Seidenberg or Ehrhoff will be the 2nd german ever to win that cup
The series.. I think Boston got the edge at the moment after they took Vancouver out and tied it, but Vancouver has the better team I think
If I would decide on jerseys then Boston would win it

I hope for the Canucks to win, as I'm a "fan" of this team since 1997 I would love to see Ehrhoff and the Sedin-twins score for the win.. but I think Boston has the advantage of winning 3 of the last 4 games, so.. I would bet for Boston winning the Cup.
Then they have to move except Hansen^^
Phoenix with Boedker.. They are too broken for more
Ottawa with Regin.. Ottawa isn't the team from 2007
Montreal with Eller.. Will they win the Cup ever again?^^
New York Islanders with Nielsen.. Oh where should I start..
Dallas with Larsen.. It's Dallas, you can have a good Basketball team but not an icehockey team even they won 1999

A shame. Not that I care all too much about NHL or ice hockey in general, but it would have been pretty cool with a Danish Stanley Cup-winner.
Yeah, I've seen Hansen play in person before, and he is the quickest guy you'll ever see. HE's also a very under-rated player.
They have to move except Hansen to win the Cup
Vancouver has a team that could try it next year
Philadelphia would have one with a good goalie and thats what they get with Bryzgalov
While teams like New York Islanders or Phoenix have to improve a lot to get a grip for the cup

Wait, so you think the team needs a rebuild? If thats the case, I dont understand why you think that. This team won pretty much everything they could during the regular seasson, and then fell one game short in the finals. If anything this team needs to stay healthier and that should be fine. If Kesler and Hank were'nt injured and the refs called the game more to the style of Vancouver I think Vancouver could have easily won the game.
The first deal of buisness is to re-sign Bieksa, Lapierre and Ehrhoff and then after that with the salary cap being raised by 3Mill maybe we can fit in another top 6 forward to play with Kes.
