So I guess Valverde's vuelta will be a carbon copy of his Tour.
First the uphill finish stage one....then the time trial...then the Pirenées. Wanna bet it all comes full circle?

But will it be enough?
Nicholas Roche seems to be in a great form and although he's not as mountain-skilled as his father and cousin, AG2R have definitely made a great signing.

He has been slowly developing i think he has a great future ahead of him. I was hoping him to win todays stage. He showed he can perform with the big lads though. |

Indeed...Caisse seems do not learn..first tour weak is way to early control the race. I liked how Sastre was in tdf first week almost invisible man.
But maybe Valverde knows he limit..take stage win..(wins and possible)..now way I can keep up all tour |

Hehe, I said the same on the NCL forum yesterday, Boonen will win. And..he did.
He's very strong atm, since the cocaine affaire actually, it's like he is his old self again suddenly.
Write him down for the worlds already...Varese isn't that hard |

I don't think Boonen stands a chance in Varese, I think he will have a problem when mainly Italy and Spain begins to attack at every chance. |
